Black woman actually get abortions at disproportionately higher rates than any other race. I believe Candace Owens or Ben Shapiro go into detail on it though I can’t remember which one, maybe both
@Natural Sarcasm , do yourself a favor, don’t use those two as sources..
@YoYoMango, why not they’re both intelligent, Ben Shapiro went to Harvard. Whether you agree with them or not there is no denying their intellect. Plus Ben Shapiro usually cites all his sources
@YoYoMango, so you’re racist, sexist and an anti-Semite. You must be one of those alt-right white supremacist I’ve been hearing about! Never thought I would interact with one!
@YoYoMango, why not when they sight there sources?
@Hot Coffee, an anti Semite who listens to a Jew.... Do you realise how special you sound? Go sniff hair like creepy Joe.
@Natural Sarcasm , Ben Shapiro is a very articulate and fast speaking individual. Just based on his personal blog, the daily wire, he prides his personal political/religious biases over fact and his content can usually be refuted with simple fact check. As for Candace Owens, I’ve literally watched her say how she’d probably believe in climate change if she actually did the research on it. And for those reasons, I’m out.
@Natural Sarcasm , abortions are single largest threat to black men. I dare any other statistic to stand before that...
@YoYoMango, I’ve never heard of anyone successfully fact checking Ben Shapiro since as far as I know most of the stats he quotes are cited from reputable resources but I’ll keep an eye out. And I haven’t heard of Candace Owens talking about climate change but if she said that then I wouldn’t listen to her on climate related issues but I wouldn’t say that discredits her across all issues
@Che D Lay sir, 2020 stats: Black men killed by covid = approx 24,000
Black men killed by the police = approx 110
Black men killed by abortions = 0
Are those statistics good enough for ya?
@YoYoMango, youre just gonna ignore that almost half of all black babies concieved are aborted and pretend that somehow candace owens and ben shapiro are somehow wrong on that data point even though its a CDC stat.
@Che D Lay sir, idk man something about forcing a woman to have a child she doesn’t want sounds a bit like the nazis to me.
@YoYoMango, the single largest threat to black men is black women. That isn't a statistic and that isn't pointing a finger...that is recognizing a margin which is far and above any average compared to any other ethnicity.
@Geo1345, what’s the difference between a child that has been born vs a child that has not been born? Would you say it’s ok for a woman to kill a 2 year old because she doesn’t want him or her anymore?
@Luciferthefalln1, you realize I’m ridiculing the Left, don’t you? You realize the Left are insanely racist, don’t you?
@Natural Sarcasm , Shapiro feigns intelligence by using credible sources (usually) but extrapolating and misrepresenting data a lot. Next time you listen to him, pay attention to how often he says things like "let's say for example" or "imagine if" while there's nothing inherently wrong with saying those things, what he often does is sets up stupid strawman arguments or completely hyperbolizes data. As a quick example, look up the video "how to discredit everything Ben Shapiro says" by the youtuber Destiny. The one video probably won't change your mind on him, but it's a pretty good example.
@Commander Peanuts, I will actually check that out now and tell you how it goes. I’ll try to remain unbiased as a Ben Shapiro fan. Also I know his analogies usually fall short but I think his points are valid leading up to them. He does seem to struggle with proper comparison though. Which I can’t truthfully blame him for as it’s a different style of thinking. Like my naturally sarcastic personality has me drawing comparisons all the time for the sake of poking fun, he’s more of a straight shooter. Metaphoric dialect isn’t really in his wheelhouse
@Jolee Bindo, I’d say consciousness and development, I’m talking about the up to second term where most abortions are legal and not from the third trimester btw. Obviously a two year old is different from a fetus.
@Commander Peanuts, are you talking about destiny’s video? I watched several times now trying to grasp the logic but I seriously cannot understand this guy, he seems very conspiracy theorist crazy dude. Not just in argument but by his overall demeanor, like the dude is just out there. He says radical like 50 times shapiro says it like 3-4 times and I’m pretty sure shapiro is just referring to Old Testament style law that out dated by comparison. Please correct me if I’m wrong and point me me to better representation of the left (seriously I want to see both sides)
@Geo1345, well to play devil’s advocate on that. How much do you remember at 2 years old?
@Natural Sarcasm , Can I suggest a video from Cody Johnston on Ben Shapiro. He cites everything (Cody Johnson).
@Natural Sarcasm , ok, its early but now I gotta see who's been pissing into the wind...
@Hot Coffee, I didn't, I thought you were ating natural not the idiot known as yoyomango. So I apologize
@Natural Sarcasm , aah, didn't get a notification for your reply so just saw this now. Yeah, Destiny has a very energetic(? Probably not quite the right word) style of talking but he's not a conspiracy theorist. He's actually really rational. Some of his debates that aren't on his own channel are a lot more calm. That video is just a short cut, normally his stuff can be like an hour long. As for shapiro, the problem is the only proof he ever likes to provide for his points are his bad analogies. There are better, longer videos that break down his style of arguments and why hes so often disingenuous. I can try to point you in that direction if you're interested in a deeper dive. Basically, bad or exaggerated comparisons are fine when you're being sarcastic and poking fun, but they're not as good when you're using them to try to substantiate claims for legitimate issues.
@Commander Peanuts, yeah probably should have worded that differently. He just had conspiracy theorist energy, very energetic almost comes off paranoid, mostly just from his gestures. Idk if I could listen to him for an hour though lol I have a hard time watching anything for that long. And yeah I know shapiro isn’t the best with analogies. They aren’t completely off base but I’ll admit they rarely hit the mark. However I think the statistics he brings to the table are his strong suit, I think if people look at the raw info he brings to the table and less so for his interpretation of it they’d be surprised.
On a separate note I have watched aba and preach talk about Ben Shapiro’s video on systemic racism. So far they’re the closest I’ve seen to anyone calling him out but I only agreed with some of what they were saying that was different than Shapiro maybe 30-40%. One thing they do differently then others though, they actually agree with him a few times while disagreeing the others
@Commander Peanuts, destiny seems more focused on saying everything shapiro said was wrong and agreed with nothing. But I’ve only seen the one video, it just seems like he’s heavily biased
@Natural Sarcasm , so the video I recommended actually I believe takes place in the middle of (or maybe beginning of) like a 50 minute video he did. But the thing with destiny is, although he can be aggressive like that, he's actually really good at deconstructing and logically establishing arguments. He's really knowledgeable about what he talks about and uses a lot of sources, and uses them well. But his style isn't for everyone, I get that.
The problem with shapiro is just having the statistics isn't enough. You have to have the right conclusions. And I'm sorry but I really think he's just a conniving person with an agenda who claims to have facts on his side. It's like if I said "you're more likely to be killed from a pitbull, so they're dangerous." Sure, that's true, but the insinuation is that pitbulls just inherently want to kill people. Meanwhile, the cause of the statistic is because pitbulls are used as fighting and guard dogs. It's manipulative. And he does that A LOT.
@Commander Peanuts, just to get you’re opinion on this. Destiny seemed to be suggesting, that someone saying that “sometimes” honor killings under sharia law being justified didn’t make them radical. Going so far as to say he could convince his mom that this was okay.
Honor killing under sharia law is the killing of a family member for dishonor. Which in Muslim society would be the man of the house killing his wife and/ or daughters (maybe sons too). Which to me seems pretty radical to me but destiny seemed to think otherwise. What are your thoughts?
@Natural Sarcasm , I think they're wrong. Always, absolutely. But, and I think this is the main point he was making, I don't think that alone is a qualifier for considering that person radicalized. I agree with him that I'm sure many Americans would say honor killings are sometimes justified if it was worded differently. my point is, one isn't more radical than the other. Especially because if you actually read up on it, honor killings aren't advocated for in Islam and are illegal in Islamic law. So that makes me wonder, what was the actual question on that statistic? Would you think it's radical if the answer was "sometimes" but the question was "is it ever ok for someone to be penalized with death?" That's why I hate just using statistics and claiming they speak for themselves. That's why destiny was so mad in that video. Shapiro claimed people were radical because they believe the should be sharia law. Meanwhile in the US people demand the 10 commandments be put up on gov property
@Commander Peanuts, I agreed with him on the 10 commandments and putting under god in the pledge as there should be a separation of church and state. But Shapiro never put his opinion on that so it’s not hypocritical unless in the same video Shapiro supported those inclusion into our society.
I don’t know enough about sharia law to make any real claims. I believe it’s out dated thinking though especially with honor killings. An example would be; your wife cheats on you therefore you have the right to kill her. I’ve even heard if your wife is raped you have the right to kill her. If she dresses out of conduct by showing to much skin physical reprimands are allowed and expected. These are just some examples I know there are more. Just seems ancient, outdated and pretty radical. Note I think destiny was treating “radical” like it meant “terrorist” but I’m pretty sure shapiro meant it as extremist
@Natural Sarcasm , well it's not directly hypocritical but saying that that makes those people radical would mean everyone in the US who believes god should be in the government is equally radical. Because that's the huge misconception in america. They think sharia law means things like honor killings, or killing infidels. And maybe from a scriptural standpoint, it is. But from a scriptural standpoint, the bible says it's ok to beat your slaves as long as they don't die. Obviously, neither religion is advocated for to its extreme views except by radicals. Actual radicals. (That's why I'm not a fan of any religion but that's a whole other topic I won't get into.) So the point of the video was shapiro was saying "look, these countries aren't just a small minority of radicals." And that's so manipulative. One, because some of the reasons like you acknowledged are BS. And two, because like destiny pointed out, it's just fear mongering. They're not half full of radical muslims.
@Commander Peanuts, fair enough I’m not gunna lie I’m not well versed in sharia law in the slightest so it’s hard for me to make any comparison worth anything. I got nothing else to add so maybe destiny just isn’t for me. Anyway thanks for taking the time to talk to me I guess we’ll just have to agree to disagree lol I appreciate the different perspective though
@Natural Sarcasm , yeah, not destiny, but I do recommend looking into it. A lot of youtubers have made content explaining the issues with him. But I agree, always good to talk to differing opinions
@YoYoMango, There it is, the stupidest thing I'll read today
Black girls be like uhh can you not talk about God like that while having a baby by every guy in a 2 block radius?
See, racism can work both ways you ignorant prick
Oh god dats my fetish!
Thought horses were a white girls best friend, not dogs
@Dknessfalls, They like them both.
Edit:wait sh!t i can do better
Why do you think they like Black men so much!
@CocoasBro, I gotta post for this...hope it passes. Stayed tuned.
Im just here, kinda ticked that I don't have any popcorn while I read these comments.
