This quote feels a bit... Euphoric.
@The Kragle, I remember when I used to love being euphoric... Hmmm, good times.
Tesla was a badass. But he's as antisocial as it gets since he liked to just hang out with pigeons
@Grand Admiral Thrawn, And I'm pretty sure that being anti-social impacted his ability to push his well-meaning discoveries into the public eye.
@Grand Admiral Thrawn, He was always rather eccentric, but it was later in his life that his mind starting to go a bit, that was when he befriended those wonderful pigeons.
@Grand Admiral Thrawn, what if the pigeons were the only ones smart enough to understand his ideas?
@Grand Admiral Thrawn, antisocial is different than what you think...it means that you are against society as a whole and are extreme. Antisocials are literal psychopathes.
all of us are a little crazy
@Grand Admiral Thrawn, Pidgeons are great listeners, you can learn a lot from them. Ever remember that one post with the plant guy?
Now people are all going to take this at face value, and literally, but the true meaning is that not being a conformist, is seen as anti-social, and in a world of conformists, those who go against the grain, and ask the questions are those with true intelligence. It doesn't mean that you're smart if you lock your self away in your room and not talk to people.
@TheDoctorsTARDIS, I've generally held the belief that the people with true intelligence aren't necessarily the ones who ask the questions, but rather it is the ones who can work through the solutions who are the truly intelligent people. Any old fool can ask "how does the sun shine?", but it takes a astrophysicist to answer that.
@AnnoyedWalrus, but I mean, not questions of why or how things work. But asking the question isn't always simple as asking verbally. But asking questions about ideas or philosophies. Such as asking WHY do some follow religion, WHY are countries at war. They don't take the world at face value but ask why society acts how it does, instead of blind following.
Nah, I just hate everybody
Well I must be the smartest person in the world then
@Mr Sarcastic, not as smart as the numerous people who will type a response to your comment, think about it, delete it, and move on.
@Mr Sarcastic, can't tell if sarcastic 😕🔫
I believe I'm needed again.
I got kicked from the FP clash of clans clan :( what was the other one someone mentioned?
@origamiguyljb, I could swear I've participated enough to stay in it
Nikolai Tesla: The true MVP
He's right, you know.
Pfft what does this loser know
This feels like it's saying social people are dumb...
I've met really dumb anti-social people...
Yay I'm a genius!
Antisocial and asocial are 2 different things. Asocial more describes the sentiment here.
Not a great thing to promote when psychopathy is an anti-social disorder.
It is possible for stupid people to be anti social. The behaviour can stem from social anxiety or self esteem issues as easily as it can stem from an inability to relate to less intelligent peers.
This sounds like what one of the Goth Kids would say from South Park
Nikola Tesla is my spirit animal.
What about in a world of anti-socials?
