I’m just pissed that they didn’t put in Bulbasaur or Squirtle yet apparently they had the time to put in Charmander
@A Flying Panda, cHaRiZaRd StRoNk
@A Flying Panda, you can get Bulbasaur and Squirtle, it just has to be from Pokemon home transfer
@CPUBlueHeart, Seriously? My understanding of it was that they didn’t put the models into game, so even if you tried transferring it, those Pokémon wouldn’t work
@A Flying Panda, If I remember correctly, all the Pokemon not included also are unable to be transferred into the game as well, so no Squirtle or Bulbasaur at all, the national dex has been cut
Haven't heard much good about this game and it's the first one from the main series I haven't rushed to get on release day. I hope it's not as bad as what others have said...
@RedRussia4, considering more than half of all existing Pokemon prior to this game cannot even be transferred into the game with the devs having no plan to change that, it seems like it may be as bad, guess we won't, "Catch them all"
@RedRussia4, I'm actually enjoying it. Looking at it as a stand alone experience it's pretty fun. Is it perfect? No. There's a lot of charm though, especially in some of the new designs
@RedRussia4, it's fine. They do new things with the game that could bring in more fans. From what I can tell a large chunk of the fans wanted all of the Pokemon to be in the game, all 800+ of them. And a smaller minority within that group is being toxic/ trying to ruin it for everyone. I played with my dad to the first gym, it took 3h, I never saw a need of an uber amount of Pokemon. I'm personalised content with the game, so I won't go sing it's praises or dash it across the rocks because I didn't get what I wanted. So that may be why it's so lop sided for you.
@RedRussia4, I've already played through the main game. The lack of pokemon isn't a big deal, I mean 400 is a lot. A lot of detail is put into the world and it really makes it feel like you're in the pokemon world. The new pokemon are fun, the dynamax is a better mechanic than the z moves but lacks compared to the mega. My only complaint is that there were some pacing issues as far as my team's level because you cant turn off the exp share, for the middle portion of the game they felt overleveled, but the enemy pokes caught up by the time I made it to the finals
it also runs about 3 hours short compared to some of the previous games, some of which I would attribute to not having to grind, the rest do to the lack of any sort of major team badguy plot
@RedRussia4, I really enjoyed it. I beat the main story last night; it's different from any other pokemon game I've played. Competitively, Dynamax is probably not as good as mega evolutions or whatever, but it sure feels awesome having pokemon kaiju fights. I loved all the characters, and the character customization was super cool too. It can be sad if your favorite pokemon isn't in the game (mine is torchic) but there are a bunch of new galarian pokemon to make up for it. And it's actually relatively challenging. Granted, I didn't lose a single battle, but the last few gym leaders had me playing pretty defensively.
God is literally dead!
Someone put in alot of work for this connection no one asked for
@jasontype40, this was well made, how mad was this creator.
What the fvck was the point of that?
@DMs Phantom, it's some of the large amount of pokemon that wont be in this game
@DMs Phantom, basically they always allow a chunk of the Pokémon to be traded into the new game or be caught later one , from what I know they basically won’t let a large set of Pokémon into the new game
@DMs Phantom, we have 400 out 890 that’s unacceptable when was the last time we got a non-kanto starter in a game pretty sure it was in gen 4
