It's a terrible day for run
Mom, why.... Why are they burying Daddy?
@Lord Palpatine, No! It will always be too soon for this sh!t
@Lord Palpatine, stop putting dirt on my daddy!
@Anass Rhammer, He's got a lot of work to do!
@SimonPetrikov, *later that day*
"Are you alright, Colonel?"
"Yeah, I'm fine, except... it's a terrible day for rain..."
"But it's not raining"
*tear runs down face*
"Yes... it is..."
@Super GingerBoy, why must you do this?
Mom, why are the manlets crying at a cartoon?
@TheMonkeyGod, why do people cry at movies or TV shows? It's not real either. As long as the characters are well developed it's all the same. I mean is this scene better represented if the characters are real people, probably not, do you think you could actually get that level of acting out of a real cold, no you can't. It's all art, TV, movies, anime, video games and when the characters are developed well you can empathize with them
@PVT Leonard Church, because simple people and children can't tell fiction from reality. Worse still is that, for people who should know better, the biggest hint is that it's a cartoon.
@Super GingerBoy, every dang time I watch that scene it rains in my house
@PVT Leonard Church, it's called hormones DAMNIT. Ever since my first kid I cry at all sorts of crap. I cry even more after the second kid. I cry while watching America's Got Talent when a group of kids does an amazing dance because my body wants to make me a little bjtch and throw my intelligence out the window.
@SchroedingerPussPuss, I totally agree. I can see how my comment could be confusing, but I was just saying that this scene hits hard because the characters are well developed and it's not really any different than well developed characters in other media
@PVT Leonard Church, oh yeah, I was just making a statement as to how people can cry over fictional events. And hormones always ends with the word DAMNIT after you have a kid LOL
I'm not exaggerating when I say that this was literally me the first time around.
@SimonPetrikov, I didn't cry, but I shut off the tv and just stared at my reflection on the screen
@SimonPetrikov, I cried really hard. The feels...
A similar reaction could be made with tears of pure happiness when Mustang literally roasts lust into nothing. This show was phenomenal, they had emotions down perfect from complete sadness to pure rage.
@Domogle, Same with Envy, you can feel all of the rage in Mustang's voice.
I enjoyed FMA, but Interstellar remains one of my all time favourite movies.
I can't not cry at this part.
Terrible day for rain...

One of the most tragic character deaths in anime
Wish it had sound, I've become spoiled
The only piece of fiction I've cried to was Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix when Sirius died and Harry started flipping out in Dumbledores office
I'm tearing up just remembering it
