Why would Uno need to “reveal” this. It comes in the instructions with every game sold.
@Mkb617, thank you! This guy gets it! The rules were designed the way they are for a reason. Ignoring the instructions and adding your own BS “house rules” tips the balance of the game.
@StoneFarb, It’s insanity to try to play monopoly with new people... everybody plays that game differently...
@Blasphemy is Fun, I feel like you have to play with house rules in monopoly though. The rules say if you dont buy a property when you land on it, it goes up for auction and anyone can buy it. I've never seen anyone actually use that rule.
@Sappy Poop Stain, Interesting, I play monopoly by the books, my friend group does as well.
@Sappy Poop Stain, having that rule actually speeds up the game. I don’t think the original designers planned for it to last as long as it does in most home versions.
@Mkb617, well... well... i cant read what do you want from me
@tard in space, well if you can’t read you should be learning how instead of playing uno or monopoly
I've always played that you can stack +2s, but not +4s. If you can stack +4s, they become way too valuable, and whoever has the most +4s wins every time.
@Sappy Poop Stain, that is something a guy loosing would say
@Sappy Poop Stain, i never played stacking.
@Sappy Poop Stain, by the official rules you can only play a wild or +4 if you cannot play any other card. Another rule no one ever follows/knows about.
Can anyone explain what the stacking rule is?
@Donald Drumpf, if someone plays a draw 2, you can play a draw 2 on top of it. A draw 4 can go on top of a draw 4 or a draw 2, but a draw 2 cannot go on a draw 4 unless it is the color the person who played the draw 4 picked. At least that’s the way my family played it. Person who gets stuck draws all cards
@Donald Drumpf, if someone plays a card that causes the next player to draw cards, the player can match it and cause the next player to draw the combined amount.
@thejohan, I hate to tell you but your made up rule is wrong. Draw 4s can't be stacked on anything. Only Draw 2s
@18bluecat, house rules.
@Donald Drumpf, It's a rule that people who don't remember the real rules use.
@thejohan, your house rules are wrong
@Donald Drumpf, it's a Sith legend. It involves a path to powers so incredible, some would call it unnatural.
@thejohan, ah thanks, I've used it before but didn't know it had a name
@18bluecat, That’s why it’s called a fvcking house rule
@18bluecat, doing it with draw 2’s is just as made up as doing it with draw 4’s
It's the same as people that use the free parking rule in monopoly. It doesn't exist. Also if no one buys a street they land on it goes up for auction. Makes the game a lot quicker.
@zombieflamingo, most new monopoly sets actually acknowledge the most common house rules as being valid as long as everyone knows and agrees to them.
@Mkb617, if everyone says it’s a rule then it’s a rule
@eleven, yeah that’s why i said “as long as everyone knows and agrees to to them”, so I don’t really get your point
We use the stacking rule, we call the draw 4 and draw 2 cards “sauce” in our house, we’ll often ask “got any sauce?” before placing one down or if one gets placed down we say “needs more sauce!”
