All I hear is that it's just a matter of time before dinosaurs.
Or, admit they weren’t extinct.
Cat Lady: Where can I learn this power?
Bird Enthusiasts: Not from a Dog Guy.
Kiwis aren’t extinct?
@troubled panda, not a kiwi. It's a species of rail from the Indian Ocean that went through a process called iterative evolution, which I guess starts the same with a common ancestor. Couple species branches off, one died cause the island they were on submerged into the ocean, and when the ocean emerged from the ocean thousands of years later, the other branch settled there and gained the traits of the extinct species.
This is all in just layman's terms. I literally just found this stuff out like 5min ago from reading the article about it.
@that1german, I tried to find this article but I was searching kiwi so that didn’t help. Thank you for the info
@troubled panda, yeah I just put in "extinct bird returns" in Google and hit the first or second link. The articles from last month so should be easy to find
@that1german, the ocean emerged from the ocean? Must be a deep ocean
@FrankNStein, where else is the Great Dreamer Cthulu going to hold up at?
