Yea. I summoned animals of two giant Octopus, then turned myself into a giant octopus to charge some giant Fisher with a humanoid lure that had taken out our rogue. I rolled fire and managed to grab the rogue, and rushed to shore to get her to our healer. Giving up an attack of opportunity on the beast in spite of my animals having it grappled. It somehow managed to spear me and stop me from making it to shore. I rolled feat of strength to throw her to shore. So OF COURSE i rolled a 1. Thankfully I'm a halfling and got my reroll of a single 1 per session.(my DMs rule.) Nailed a nat 20 and landed her in the lap of our healer. Needless to say that was the end of my good luck and was eventually making death rolls. Fortunately that's all everyone needed of me and finished the job with me only ending with severe scars that give me a -1 for persuasion and +1 on intimidation.
@ThePandaPool , not nerdy enough to understand what is happening nor comment something useful to your story... soooo... banana?
@ThePandaPool , I’m guessing druid through all that then, Circle of Moon?
@Nosferatu Zodd, bingo. Level 5.
@seeUpee, I mean that was pretty bananas so I guess it works
@ThePandaPool , if your DM has ruled it that halflings can only reroll a single nat 1 per session, then your DM is cheating. The Lucky racial feat allows you to retool any nat 1, but you have to keep the new roll.
@I Are Lebo, we do a lot of house rules. Hes not necessarily cheating. He also let's us get away with some fvckery that he shouldn't. Lol
@ThePandaPool , fair enough. DM discretion, right? That does kind of gimp the halfling, though.
@I Are Lebo, if I was just a rogue or hunter it would be very detrimental, but as a circle of the moon druid, I'm kinda OP. I'm gonna multi class around 8 though.
I’m putting together a campaign for my friends called the Cursewalk. It involves curses. A lot of curses.
If someone gets a 69 on the d100 table I came up with, they become unable to say anything but the word “nice” until the curse is removed.
@I Are Lebo, Nice
Recently started the beginning of my first DnD game and loving it! I see all the hype for DnD clearly now!
"Nice! I got a 27!"
DM: "ok take half damage."
