@InsaneAnimeCleavage, pretty sure the whole first 2 seasons he was just angry guy that blew things up and he cried in season 3 so everyone loved him because he has basic human emotions.

@ItsTheOG, rewatch/reread and pay attention. It's there. It's not the traditional " I HAVE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT AND MUST DESCRIBE IT IN DETAIL" way like most anime.
