Who else believes in the Berenstein/Berenstain bears conspiracy?
@TheKnightsWhoSayNi, depends on what it is, seeing this is the first time I've heard of it.
@TheKnightsWhoSayNi, I do not believe. I remember very clearly being 5 years old and reading "Berenstain" on the cover and thinking that was an odd spelling. Summer, 1994, Ponca City OK, public library.
@Iswearimfunny, there’s actually a very easy explanation for that simply due to the the fact that the only time you hear stain is in Berenstain for almost every name it’s stein so your brain autocorrects it to be so
@Iswearimfunny, I too have memories of feeling like it was weird, but just forcing myself to go with it.
@eleven, People underestimate the human mind’s ability to fvck up its own memory on a mass scale.
@TheKnightsWhoSayNi, its berenstein
@Fencingfiend93, amen good sir!
They could easily make a sci-fi movie about being stuck in different timelines using the Berenstain Bears as a reference for which one they're in
@Surande Dadstorm, There's other easier ways of checking which universe you're in. Hashing an encyclopedia is a great way to check.
