@TubaPride, Hmmm? Fallout 4 isn’t remembered as a failure. It’s the least liked of the series for sure and has many flaws, but from everything I’ve heard and read about it it’s generally seen in a positive light.

@TR8R, that is actually the real reason why it isn't being produced. Because it has been so long since 2 and everyone has been talking about and memeing half life 3 since then it can never live up to the hype that it's created no matter how good it is. Could be the greatest game of all time but because of the hype it will still not live up to the standard that's been created.

@Jipz, No, it’s because the company takes great care and time to make their games amazing, they’re the only company that doesn’t rush to get the game out as soon as possible with stupid sнit like early acces. They do playtesting like an actually serious game making company. They are waiting for and contributing to the technology to come along that will allow them to make the next installment in the series exactly how they want it and have it blow every past one out of the water just like Half-Life: Alyx did. Also, they had to establish the prequel story that was Half-Life: Alyx before they could continue the story where it left off at the end of Episode 2. I have no doubt that will come to pass when the technology is ready for the next installment, because they just want to make sure it’s done at the right time so it’s a quality production instead of being rushed rushed through like so many game series.
