Middle East? We all know Jesus was American. That’s why he’s our founding father!
@Stacys daughter , if you speak any language other than the one my Lord Jesus spoke, you shouldn't be able to vote
@Stacys daughter , Yeah I heard he was born south of Georgia so that means hes a pure blooded Floridian
Not completely missing the mark but very understandable as a native middle easterner/Arab/Palestinian (Jerusalem actually)I have quite a few light hair, eyed, skinned family family members with the normal tan dark skin middle eastern members. My first blood cousin u can say he looks like a bootleg Conner mcgregor as in ginger beard, light brown eyes, and paler skin ( most of my family is on the browner tanner side of the spectrum with darker features like hair and eye color cept his brother who has green eyes and a few others with green and I think blue). Point is the Middle East is a very non homogeneous region where many different looking people have lived throughout the thousands of years i remember seeing in my Village square a few guys walking out of the local mosque and their were kids who were blonde with features that look like someone from Norway and west Europe with freckles etc, so their will always be a mixture of looks.
Just my two cents I’d hopefully clarified somethings
@Sand1998, well you must also keep in mind that what you see is thousands of years of human evolution and immigration. At the time of Christ, it would really have been predominantly dark skinned people
@Professor Kukui, quite true yet even before their was quite a heavy influx of Europeans from Egypt such as Rome and Greece so that had a large hand in it as well leading up to Jesus time and today’s era so probably at the time it was more dark skinned people but over time became how it is today
@Sand1998, well you have to remember that grecians weren’t fair skinned either. Most had a warm olive tone to their skin, and tended not to travel much into the areas of Egypt. Rome on the other hand did so you made a good point there. I still believe that Christ, if he was indeed a real man, did have dark skin. He was a carpenter, A rabbi, and a traveler meaning he was under the sun frequently. So either way, Jesus was a dark dude
@Professor Kukui, it was nice speaking about this topic also funny story when I was in high school during the end of my many classes my teacher asked me where I was from and I told him east Jerusalem and had been close to Bethlehem and he said “oh so that’s why you remind me of Jesus he also said I look like Jesus. Well that was one memorable moment of high school.
I don't get it. They're all holy.
Uh, he's Jewish
Jesus is the only one trying to lower your cholesterol
Actually Jesus was in Israel, which is where you'll find mostly Mediterranean complexions. So not white, but not dark either. More olive, and strangely attractive
If you’re catholic
Ah, you see, Jesus was made in god's image, so god is definitely white... (Runs for cover)
*pulls out popcorn*
Daniel Sloss did a bit about this in one of his specials. "HE'S GOT THE COMPLECTION OF A FOOKING SNOWMAN... Whatever those are.." Highly recommend.
