I finished all the works of H.P. Lovecraft. I think I should do Poe next.
@ThePandaPool , I am working on listening to Lovecraft's works on Audible and was just thinking I would do Poe next. I am also currently reading the complete cannon to Sherlock Holmes.
@CousinMose, I didnt think of sherlock Holmes. I may give that a try. I'm just seeing what I can get into before I get lost in another one of Wildbows works.
@ThePandaPool , I'm not familiar with Wildbow, could a I get a brief synopsis?
@CousinMose, his main work that I like is "Parahumans" or "Worm". It is probably my favorite story hands down. It's a complicated well done superhero story. His other work is fantasy stuff, but I havent read that yet.
@ThePandaPool , thank you, always looking for a good read to add to my list. If you like H.P. Lovecraft and Sherlock Holmes, James Lovegrove has a series where he mashes them together. From what I read it is not a bad representation from a fan of both authors. It's called the Cthulhu Casefiles.
@CousinMose, I just screenshot your message. That sounds more appealing to me than reading sherlock Holmes. Is it published work or is it a web thing?
@ThePandaPool , alright so I used the word "read" a little loosely as I really listened to the book on Audible. I often say I just read the books I listen to, because I hate sounding like an add. But after looking into it, you can find the series in hard copy, on Amazon. Though Amazon tries to sell you the audiobook version as it owns Audible.
@ThePandaPool , my brother got me the anthology of Lovecraft works for my birthday. I love it, the writing is a bit dense and hard to get through at times but the prose is so wild and imaginative
@CousinMose, thanks dude. I may just order it now so it doesnt get lost in my memory. Lol
@jouze, I agree. It may not always be considered good writing, but it creates something that you can visualize and get into. That's why there is 100 times as much material based off the original content than there is original content.
@ThePandaPool , yeah my mistake. Sounds like you found it anyway. Hopefully you enjoy it.
You’re never coming back out, they sealing you in
The thing is, the person who got sealed up had insulted his family, but this is for a stranger. Completely different motives.
I climb in anyhole you want me to! 😏
For a fee
What if I’ve read it but am into that?
