I'm working my dream job right now! At the beginning of the year I got fired while I was out of work getting a covid test. That was probably the best thing that has happened to me. I was painting before for friends and family. But after I was let go they all encouraged me to try to to sell my paintings. 9 months later and business is good. I've been getting a steady supply of commission paintings. I've also been roaming around my town with a backpack full of prints. I do work all the time now but I would never willingly go back to the 9-5. It has been a fun year and I'm hoping I can keep supporting my family on my art. Check me out if your an art lover

@mclovinn, I just looked up your page, and I am most impressed. I’ve considered doing the same with my photography, but I still don’t feel ready even after nearly eight years of practicing
@Mook, thank you so much! I was never ready. It was more of a leap of faith.I hope you go for it and let me know if you do. Good luck!
@mclovinn, That's so good to hear!
You can make a career out of a hobby. Although I suppose my dream job would also be none. Who doesnt want to be a fat sack of crap that brings no societal benefit?
But….if you love your job, you don’t have to work…..that’s what my mommy told me!
Jokes aside, I’ve actually done this! I love my job so much that I can go for 11 hours and feel good! Sometimes it’s hard work and it sucks, but it’s always worth it in the end!
Never stop chasing your dreams and finding that perfect job!
Do what you love, and your passion will slowly die, until the thing you once enjoyed becomes a hollow husk of itself and you no longer know how to feel...
Start your own small company doing what you love and keep replacing yourself until your “job” is to think
Or as known a year ago, normal women.
The fact that they use Marin from Link’s Awakening is kind of depressing. But I still appreciate the recall to an older game.
Well, she got her wish I guess
