Aren’t humans considered to be exhaustion/endurance hunters or something like that? As in we follow pray at a medium speed, and simply out last said pray, waiting for it to collapse from exhaustion?
@Mr Bombastic, yep. Well, we WERE. Then someone decided to use the farming cheat code. That really messed it up for everyone.
@Mr Bombastic, persuit predators. Many animals can outrun us, but very few can outlast us. Early human hunters got their prey by pursuing it until it was exhausted or dead. There's speculation that our hunter ancestors killed very large prey, simply by pursuing it at a walking pace, while the animal killed itself via over exhaustion
@Mr Bombastic, Yes. Also, most mammals can not cool their bodies (ie: panting) and perform aerobic activities at the same time. Humans can, that is why we sweat so profusely compared to other mammals. We happen to have developed alternative cooling mechanisms that happen to allow us to literally force other animals into heat-stroke by preventing them from resting and cooling themselves. So, humans are super effective against mammals.
@Grandad Henryk, ancient humans were metal as f*ck.
Does it not strike you as odd that humans literally have the need to waste energy to survive in their societies? Sentience propagates the rising entropy of the universe to new levels. That is the reason for our existence. Destruction to those that attempt to move towards their natural instinct. For that path shall only result in the destruction of all knowledge and existence. We seek to preserve all life, and therefore must repress it.
If you know what I'm talking about and get the reference, nice.
I wonder how weird they think it is that we keep captives just to pet them.
@DaMoon, could be worse. We kept black people as pets and they got no scratchies at all.

Yeah I agree with them. Let's all stop running for "fun" so that my victi... friends will slow down for me
@I am bacon man, if you offer them free bacon long enough they won't be able to run from you
@Oujosh29, but then heart disease kills the before I do
Well humans can jog for a crazy amount of time with stopping. Atleast in shape ones. So chasing a prey would make since in this situation even though the wolf would have no idea.
