*Enters bomb shelter*
In about 6 months this will also work for presidents who have been impeached
*turns off notifications*
@open name, The evidence to impeach Trump is there, but after the house impeaches, the Senate won't hold a trial, just like with Clinton.
@WifitheRouter, it’s honestly super fascinating to me that there’s a large scale investigation into the president and everybody just has to act like nothing’s going on
@open name, It's into his campaign and some stuff that wasn't the target, but was incriminating, was made public by Cohen (payments to hide an affair and something about the way they were made).
@open name, Exactly. The same people who act like this is no big deal would totally flip out if Obama was suspected of half the things that Trump is
@K1l, not really. The funny thing is Obama had over 2 million of campaign finance issues, he had a 300,000 fine to pay. Hes fine was more than trump paid women. Which in and of itself, is debatable if that's even a campaign finance violation.
The double standard the dems have is just so obvious.
@phalcon , the two cases arent really that comparable. I could go and explain it all but im too lazy for that. Do research on the comparison of the two cases to see all the details. To sum it up:
Trumps campaign, particularly Cohen is facing *criminal* charges while Obama’s faced *civil* charges for donation reporting violations - which I’d say shows a pretty big difference.
Even republicans at the time didnt make a big deal about it because although the fine was quite large, it was proportional compared to the size of the campaign when compared to the average campain that has those fines.
@K1l, and is the plea deal over campaign spendings? No, it's about lying to Congress about a different matter.
So no it doesnt show any big difference at all.
@phalcon , Cohen also was also charged with breaking campaign finance laws for hush money.
@K1l, hmmm yes I'm reading that now... but from what I can see that's personally against him and his law firm.
The things that still need to be proved, can you even submit nondisclosure agreements money as campaign finance? Some people argue you cant, and since you cant, not declaring it isnt a violation of the campaign finance laws.
Two, while running, you can still conduct personal business. So it could be argued he pay off these women regardless, thus not a campaign issue.
Three, when you tell a lawyer to do something, and they agree, you expect them to know the law, so trump may never have been advised it wasn't allowed.
So, until they can prove trump knew it was illeagal (if it actually was) there's nothing against him.
@K1l, ps, I think trump a scummy human being for needing to pay women off because he cheated on his wife, in the first place. So dont think I'm biased for trump either...
@phalcon , No I get what you’re saying, im just saying the Obama case (from what I’ve read and understood) was just a thing that isnt that uncommon for presidential campaigns and it really isnt a big deal. But what Trump’s campaign is accused of would be something very wrong and slimy.
Not accusing Trump himself of anything because the investigation isnt over yet, but my initial statement was that the typical people defending Trump would flip out if Obama had a fraction of the amount of things tied to his name that Trump has that are being investigated for similar activity.
@phalcon , Trump is absolutely not a great guy by any means, nor would I call him an intellectual. But the man has been treated incredibly unfairly by all of mainstream media, the only reason that the majority of dems think trump is so bad is because of what they are being told. The media reported on any allegation made against him, whether or not they are true. I am a little baked writing this but I truly do feel strongly about this topic as President Trump has done so many great things for this country so far in office and he only attracts poor recognition from the media.
@WifitheRouter, are we just ignoring all the evidence surrounding Hillary Clinton?
@punsnipermark6, There unfortunately is no easy way to prove the emails were deliberately deleted to obstruct justice. There is concrete evidence of Trump's payments, thanks to Cohen.
@WifitheRouter, spoken like a Hillary supporter. Just ignore evidence because she was able to get rid of it.
@phalcon , it’s not his job to explain basic news articles to you, if you truely don’t understand the absolute bare bones of what’s going on then don’t call other people hypocrites.
@punsnipermark6, spoken like a true trump supporter shifting the blame regardless of their own party's wrong doings.
@punsnipermark6, “just because there’s no eveidence of something happing doesn’t mean it didn’t happen”
-man desperately trying to convince bank manager he was in an extremely unlucky teleporter accident and the hole leading from the bank to his house is a coincidence.
@Runnin with scissors, considering how many of your politicians are hunting trump, I'm not surprised that they were able to convince someone to tell "their truth."
@punsnipermark6, lol so the 12 prior allegations and a confirmed payoff dont count. Theres also a video of him saying women like it when you grab them by the pussy as well as another about taking control and basically not listening to the word no. You cant even make that shjt up. Believing that man is capable of having sex with a prostitute and paying her to keep it quiet during a campaign is credible considering his history of lying and misogyny. You must still think Cosby is innocent too huh?
@Runnin with scissors, nope, and that's called a straw man argument. Idk why I'm wasting my time though, you're obviously so extremely convinced that nothing at all could convince you.
@punsnipermark6, same goes for you except you're very ignorant and dont present any support and it's not a straw hat argument. You misused that phallacy because those are all things that happened and I did refute what you said. For it to be a straw man I would have to argue against a point you never made while saying I won the original argument but I responded to what you said directly and showed my evidence. Good luck fool.
@Runnin with scissors, you said that I think that Cosby is innocent.... I never said that.... I do remember that arguing with liberals is useless. Just going remind you on my way out, Hillary is ACTUALLY not my president.
@punsnipermark6, you brought up the "tell their truth" issue which is what I argued against. You made fun of a commenter so I did the same in an ironically similar matter because you deserved it. Saying you think Cosby is innocent was sarcasm to point out your lack of logic in comparing the two issues. Lastly no shjt she isnt your president she isnt anyones. Arguing with you is clearly useless but only because you're either incapable of reading a small paragraph while remembering what you said within the last 5mins or because you are just dumb. Good luck fool.
Update: Called it
You're damned right. It's also selecting everyone in the picture who diddled a girl out of wedlock and tried to hide it
I hate this because both of the presidents shoulders are slightly in the same squares as Hillary, and I never know how sensitive these bots are
@FishFish, it’s a good thing then that the picture doesn’t extend lower because I’d hate to know where either of their hands were.
Oh, and the middle center and bottom center would be for criminal. Gotcha.
@bowlnmike, why you comin up in here and throwin around gasoline and matches on a meme app dog?
This is the real political point you are all too stupid to see. Hillary Clinton is probably the best- Haha lol ur already triggered at this point, but jokes on you because I’m masturbating to Hello Kitty. That is all
Hmmm... psychopath, sociopath, and nymphomaniac, all in one picture. It's like a poster for the world's shjttiest asylum.
@Suicide Squad Sucks, hmm. You need to be more specific. Several of those titles apply to multiple people in the photo.
@Cyberwalky, damn it, I never realized that...
