Dammit WB. How do you fvck up the Justice League?
@Weird Porn Stash, oh that’s simple: don’t use the creative talent you have at DC comics, don’t listen to your chief officer Geoff Johns, assume that Zach Snyder’s idea of the DCEU was ever the right path to begin with and constantly sacrifice characterization and story in a vain attempt to catch up to MCU.
@Weird Porn Stash, frankly, that is a thing that happens often. There are some amazing Justice League bits, but there are also a lot of terrible ones.
@Weird Porn Stash, I really enjoyed justice league - yes it had its flaws but I felt the core league was good and am looking forward to future films. If I’m honest I don’t know why it’s got such bad press. Let’s not forget that the MCU started with ‘The Incredible Hulk’ which was just a bad movie in my opinion. DCEU are on the right tracks now I think.
@2807Ollie, cause it could have been a lot better and for the legendary status of the league itself it was a disappointment. Yes I understand that MCU has its flaws but they took their time to do it right and learn from their mistakes especially with management getting involved in the films before feige fully took over the studio. I still don’t think this points anything on the right track with affleck wanting to leave the role of batman and directors not staying on for the solo films. It’s mainly WB fault for not taking it seriously and picking Snyder to set the theme, I will believe everything is ok when Geoff Johns is actually calling the shots.
@Weird Porn Stash, kick character development in the naughty bits
@megamanx181x, since man of steel I’ve said Snyder does not have to directing skill to make DC movies good. Yet WB still gives him their movies. I was sure he’d lose justice league to patty Jenkins after she made such a good Wonder Woman movie but clearly WB doesn’t know what they are doing.
@BearDaniels, the thing is Snyder is a good cinematographer because of 300, but he isn’t that good of a director yet. He let the watchmen influence his narrative on the world of DC too much and he really doesn’t like heroes being positive to a degree. He prefers the darker and more messed up than better.
@megamanx181x, exactly! I mean you just have to look at his filmography to see he doesn’t make movies that fit the DC tone. Beyond that he doesn’t have enough A list movies to be given the DCEU.
@BearDaniels, he got way too much credit because of 300, even then the movie was a translation of the graphic novel to film. WB thought because he could do that book the watchmen was a sure thing and then he did sucker punch which shows his story telling skills don’t make sense... there is an article out there after he did sucker punch that if he made a batman movie he would want it darker. Like he wanted batman to have so much more rage for his crusade on crime, example being he somehow ended up in prison and get raped... sounds like something from the watchmen
@Weird Porn Stash, snyder
@megamanx181x, as much as I love DC and I actually enjoy the movies, you're right
@Medic135, I’m a huge DC fan but WB has had a track record of not taking the comics media seriously. A lot of what I hold onto as a standard is from the Bruce Timm’s work on batman the animated series, superman adventures and justice league shows. Those 22 minutes episodes had more story and characterization than any of the DCEU films.
@2807Ollie, MCU started with Iron Man and thanks to it being so good they kept going.
DC sucks, Marvel rocks
Let's all be honest. If Marvel had superm..*cough cough*.. Wonder Woman, Thanos wouldn't stand a chance.
@KingGhost52, considering Thanos has the infinity arm with the gems...maybe
Why did someone record their monitor? Also, isn't this just the normal trailer?
