@Sexy Homunculus, Rs have been in the pockets of corporate America, Ds in the pocket of financial sectors, the majority of members from both groups pandering for the donations that allow them to stay in power. And all this to the detriment of the 99% of the US population who work for a smaller paycheck than the folks who run their government. Everyone should be pissed off at the way things arenât working right now... but storming the capital to overturn election results with unsubstantiated claims of fraud in an effort to âstop the stealâ is, I would argue, incredibly misguided...
-
@Mr poopy bunghole, no, there was no evidence of voter fraud. Just things taken out of context that looked like voter fraud to people with no knowledge on how the voting process works. This has already been decided in the courts, and every single judge including the ones trump himself appointed have said this
-
@microman, no, theres lots of cases of things that look weird when taken out of context. But the very fact that they weren't even able to get a single conservative judge to conclude they have actionable evidence of fraud makes it laughably obvious. But please, explain to me how the judges trump himself appointed are part of the conspiracy against him
-
Hear me out... was this a good thing? As if it wasnât clear already, it truly now cements Trump supporters as the villains in history, objectively. It was like the part of a movie where thereâs a questionable character, not totally apparent what their motives are, and then they strangle someone and youâre like oh I see heâs the villain
-
@heybruh, it's not a good thing for several reasons. But saying they're the "villains of history" is a bit explosive. Thinking in movie terms, a man is beating his wife. The wife stabs him because she can't take the years of beatings. If the audience was introduced to the movie as she stabbed, then yes. But if the movie started in the slow crescendo of abuse and gas lighting before the stabbing, then no. Does that make it easier to understand? The wife in this instant are the crazy Qanon Trump supporters, a 300 or so group of people that got into the building. They are the psychotic break down. But they stabbed the husband with a plastic fork. The immediate reaction how ever is far worse then what they did. I'm open for discussion or clarification, all that needs to be done is to ask.

@heybruh, dems and mainstream media constantly escalating tensions in the country. Trying to force their will. For example, during the BLM riots over the death of George Floyd 33 people was killed and trillions in damages, destroying black neighbor hoods. All because they wanted to defund the police, which would harm the black community exponentially. These riots was deemed "peaceful protests." Kamala Harris constructed a bail fund that used campaign finances, and actively advocated for their work. Media, such as FB, Twitter, YouTube, ect. Put up banners in support of the movement and actively suppressed victims of the rioting. While mainstream media actively repeated the line "peaceful protest." Even while showing burning buildings in the background. No where is this more prevalent of a case then Kyle Rittenhouse. If you don't know the case, then here. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8762311/Kyle-Rittenhouses-attorney-releases-new-footage-shootings.html

@That one lurker, so letâs review. Black people get murdered repeatedly, so they fought back with protests, yes they turned violent once police engaged, so lives were lost. And yes, some got out of hand, like burning down an empty target. Youâre right, media wrongfully called them peaceful protests. So ok, CNN and others give their cause, which fights for basic human rights, the benefit of the doubt. So in response, white people storm the effing capitol building with guns and nooses and anisemtic apparel - while congress is in session, knowing theyâd force them to leave - thinking thatâs an appropriate response? A literal insurrection? In response to getting your feelings hurt? Both sides lie and use rhetoric, at the end of the day, itâs fighting for human lives vs getting ones feelings hurt. Who would you expect the media, and everyone whoâs not a racist, is gonna side with? You need to educate yourself if you think youâre comparing apples to apples
-
@heybruh, ok, send me the video or picture of armed guys and nooses stroming the building. As for the rest you're blowing smoke. I've kept on this case specifically because of its cultural importance. George Floyd wasn't murdered. He OD on Fentanyl cause he didn't want to go back to prison. The news I posted was over the Kenosha riots. They happened because of the shooting of Jacob Blake. Blake is a rapist and domestic abuser that went to his ex girlfriends house, beat her then tryed to kidnap three kids. He was tased, assaulted three police officers, then while he retreated to his car to get a knife, he was shot in the back. But sure, all black people can only be "murdered" by police.

@That one lurker, yikes man you really are that easy to be brainwashed, huh. Let me take a guess here. Youâre a straight white Christian male from a rural area and didnât go to college. Am I somewhere in the ballpark? Youâll listen to anything that Fox News or breitbart, or whatever delusional corners of the internet youâre being hypnotized by says. But itâs not your fault. Youâre a victim of generations of misinformation, narrow mindedness, and inability to think of others besides oneself. Itâs time to grow up, my man. It is time. The rest of the world has, please join us. And Iâm done arguing with you btw, so reply to this if you want but weâre done here. As they say, arguing with an idiot is like playing chess with a pigeon... you can google the rest of that quote. Oh and while youâre there, read some fvcking real information, you might learn something for once in your life
-
@heybruh, thanks for perpetuating the same abuse and demonization that brought us to this conversation. Deeming a conversation to be over because you have declared it is one of the most petulant things a child could do. Bringing up the "you're a f@cking white male" card out of no where shows how little you cared about the conversation. Standing on the bodies of black people declaring yourself to be morally righteous in doing so. To that end I hope you can grow up to be more then a racist edge lord. Till that day I hope you have a nice day.

@heybruh, You can go check out Mappingpoliceviolence.org and see Black Americans killed by a police have been on a decreasing trend for the past 7 yrs, Breonna Taylor was literally the only black female killed by police in 2020. Police homicides of black americans only account for 3 percent of all homicides of black americans. For white americans it's 7 percent. DOJ CIUS. 50% of homicides in US, victim and the perpetrator, are black americans. So yes you're right, "Black people get murdered repeatedly." Police are not hunting down black people in this country, if they did they're doing a shjt job at it. Police related homicides are proportional to violent crime rates. Jacob Blake, Rayshard Brooks, and George Floyd are awful examples to make protests out of as race had literally nothing to do with those police interactions. The media propogated misinformation about those cases to fuel more protests, riots, and looting.
-
@heybruh, Cuomo said "show me where it says protests are suppose to be peaceful" Kamala Harris said "They're not going to stop. And they shouldn't stop" regarding BLM protests. CNN reporting in Kenosha of a "Fiery but mostly peaceful protest" News anchors validating the anger and frsutration of the "protestors" But for Trump supporters since Nov 3rd? Conspiracy, Baseless, No evidence, You lost get over it, it's been debunked. You honestly don't see how the media was a catalyst? That the outlet should have been a court loss, not a refusal to hear the case. Theses people feel unheard, disenfranchised, wronged. If you can't be empathetic to that then this country has learned zero lessons from the past 4 years. Storming the Capitol was an embarrassment. you refusing to understand why it happened is too.
-
@NotCaveJohnson, "that the putlet should have been a court loss". It is a court loss when they refuse to hear a court case because the "evidence" is so terribly flimsy its not worth the waste of time or tax dollars to bring it to court. They lost 50 court cases and every single judge including conservative ones have said there was no evidence of fraud. Get over it
-
@jouze, In many places they were dismissed due to lack of standing. The Supreme court refused to hear the case at all setting a legal precedent. Thats not a loss. How can you evaluate the evidence of a court case without hearing the case? I'm telling you, these people feel like it was a dereliction of duties. Like the evidence wasn't heard. It doesn't mean they're right, they most certainly aren't. But if you keep doing that, if you keep being dismissive like that it's going to be a long 4 yrs. You should have looked under the bed for monsters. Because now the kid is having a tantrum and it's about to be a long night.
