@WickedStyx, back when I followed this kinda shjt there was this idea that women shaving their legs was for men’s sake and so it was made up my the patriarchy. There is also a weird trend of some black SJWs (for lack of a better term) that try to make every single “problem” or “cause” about them so the narrative became that white people made the patriarchy and thus the social pressure for women to shave their legs. I know she said clean and not shave, but this is my best guess. Maybe it was just a typo?

@juicy steak, generally if a woman feels pressured to shave her legs and armpits, it's because otherwise she's so hairy that she "looks like a man", "doesn't take care of her hygiene", or is some sort of hippy rebelling against societal standards. How often do you see women's legs that are covered in dark curly hair just like a man? Or armpits with full bushes? Women can grow hair almost as thick as men. It is just so uncommon to see, at least in the area I live in in America, that it really stands out when a woman doesn't shave.
-
@juicy steak, with the women I know it depends on their personalities. I'm very lazy and rarely show my legs. Thankfully my husband is not obsess with hairless legs, so I only shave once a month. But my girly friends do it because they just don't like hair, or are dating. But I know from personal experience that there are guys who hate any type of body hair on women. A guy I dated asked me to shave down there, and I said nope.

@Amethyst Sky, yeah so all I’m trying to point out here is that someone at sometime made it a thing that having hair (in certain places) is manly.... there is no purpose for removing said hair outside of maintaining some outdated social stigma. With how the world was set up in the past, I doubt this was a new rule determined and put in place by women....
-
@mayora13, yeah - so I just responded to amethyst sky about what I mean here.... I am a woman so I get why a woman today might or might not shave certain hair. The point was to point out how this all started, because there is no reason outside of outdated social stigma to shave hair in certain areas for women.
-
@Amethyst Sky, yeah I’m honestly prone to ingrown hairs and I have dark/thick hair with light skin... so honestly shaving is terrible. I adjusted last year and now I don’t shave/trim, except when I go swimming I trim everything down to a neat length. Still have hair everywhere though just no ingrowns, I wear bikinis too and no one seems to notice (nor should they care)

@Natural Sarcasm , Im hispanic and have a successful career. And damn sure no fkn piece of shjt white person helped me up. I sacrificed so much to get where i am. So just cus someone is successful doesnt mean white people helped us. You think that cus were hispanic we cant do shjt with our lives? That we cant be successful? That were less than you? Well fvck you then
-
@sikkdog, lol dude I was being sarcastic, no I obviously don’t think that and thought I was being clearly over the top enough for you to see that. That’s why I brought up the whole sjw white savior bs cause it’s a crazy form of racism that’s got a lot attention now a days. Sorry for setting you off man, it was just a joke
-
@Natural Sarcasm , bahahah dude... you sound too serious... actually we had a white family who helped us out when we first got here. If it wasn’t for them I don’t know what we would of done. We owe them a lot and gave us the push to make us so successful. Every single sibling of mine is a college graduate, one sister even has a PhD. This whole White privilege bullcrap is some more item we can be racist about. Cuz even tho BLM said only White people can be racist is the most bullcrap thing I ever heard. I have been discriminated more by blacks than I have by whites. So yeah, I said it! I will say I am a very nicely tan dude. I keep a year round tan as my natural skin holds tans longer and even if I’m pale as hell in the winter I still look tan... drives the redhead insaneeeeeee. She tries to compete but just burns 5 minutes in
-
@seeUpee, yeah man all the new ways to hate someone for their skin color is pretty crazy. I saw a few months back they put up a “whiteness” board in some museum outlining characteristics that were inherently white trying to put white people in a negative light, but here’s the weird part it had things like “hard working” “punctual” and other good attributes... saying these good attributes were actually bad and white... like wtf??? That means they also think the opposite of minorities, so they think every other race must be lazy with poor time management.... and this board is somehow considered progressive, fvckin mind blowing And yes red heads pretty much always lose the fight against sunlight lol
-
@Natural Sarcasm , ahahah I wouldn’t take all that as good attributes like you said... kind of crazy that kind of shjt can fly but if we put any other race in front of it then watch out! I never get pissed when I get discriminated. Give you the most awesome example. Back in 2008 when we started the business we did a few city jobs as they didn’t pay much but was a lot of it. We have to submit bids and on this one quote this one guy was measuring and when we showed up as soon as we started and I talked spanish to my dad he goes “look at these wetbacks” my dad didn’t know the meaning and I didn’t tell him. We had an old van we worked from. About five months ago came across the same guy. I get out of my F250 Lariat and start measuring. He comes by and tells me that it was a nice truck and that we must be doing really well. I said “we are... we keep taking and doing your jobs” oh maaaan... he got soooo fvcking red, and walked away!. Probably the most satisfying shjt ever!
-
@seeUpee, I’ll never get that mentality, like you hired these guys to do a job, why act like an dick? even if you couldn’t understand him like why? I guess it’s kinda like the internet, when people think they can get away with it they show their real colors Man I bet that moment where he realized you spoke English was just absolutely *chefs kiss* scrumptious
-
@sikkdog, oh, I see how it is, you’re doing the whole cultural appropriation thing too. Is nothing sacred? How will politicians maintain power if you help yourself? Think of all the Democrats who would be out of a job if you don’t embrace your downtrodden reality? Can you really be so cruel? Rich college educated white people would have no way to assuage their guilt that they don’t like poor people if you make something of yourself without them! Have you no heart?!
-
@seeUpee, *gasp* *looks at arms* *runs to bathroom* *stares at reflection* *screams in whiteness* *small voice* “I am become whiteness, accuser of privilege” *heads to Starbucks in Prius for a skinny white soy latte with non-fat whipped cream and ethically sourced vegan chocolate sprinkles while listening to NPR and crying*
-
@bobbylupo, I heard someone refer to that as green privilege which makes way more sense to me. Rich people can get away with way more than a poor person can and we’ve all seen it time and time again. Hell even Epstein had a pretty comfortable situation in jail and that dude was sex trafficking children
What?
