Primarily because unlike iphone users we dont spend 1k on a phone only for it to be oit of date and work like shjt a year later. Ive got an android phone thats like 4 years old and thing works better than most iphones. also yes i was intending on killjoying this and i realise i ruined the joke. its a passion of mine to derive entertainment off of these actions
@AllThanks, my iPhone didn’t cost $1k and it’s easy to use and works fine. That’s the selling point for iPhones, the easy user interface with minimal personal “flair” so that they don’t have to compromise security, like androids. You get the added personalization but less security.
Tl;dr-android gets viruses
P.s. I had android before and yes the customization was cool and it did have some apps I am unable to get on iPhone but I like my iPhone better
@Richard Cypher, I get that i was primarily trolling. Althoigh upper teir iphones the super deluxe models that people buy and subsequently the battery shjts itself in a year coincidentally after the warranty is up is a little suspect. Ill admit androids can get viruses which shows the inherent weakness of the phone but as far as a phone that has the ability to withstand the test of time as far as functionality, so long as you arent a total dumba$$ while using it, would be left to the android because the os system doesnt lag the hpone when a major version change happens unlike the familiar issue iphone has always had. Theyve even publicly said they build their phones to break so you buy a new one. Thats not to say they arent reliable in their own way but their inherent weakness are much worse for someone who knows not to do stupid shjt
@Richard Cypher, ultimatly speaking to each their own ive just had terrible experiences overall with iphone and find their entire buisness nodel suspect and built on a weak foundation of a passing fad. Its much more likely to fail as a company than others but cobsidering the amount of free advertisement and promotions they get from big nanes i dont really see that happening. Plus with is stable name being a luxury type phone just gives it more appeal
@AllThanks, as someone who works at a phone store, both of the phones have problems when they get old, I just helped a customer the other day on an S7 edge and it was lagging almost the worst of any phone I’ve seen. Apple never said they break your phone in a year so you buy another one, they said that they slow down the system because the battery is becoming less reliable, and as someone who’s taking electrical and computer engineering both my professors and I have talked about it and agreed that it was an excellent design choice to do that. I’m not saying I haven’t seen a bad iPhone or anything. I’m just saying that in terms of crappy older phones they both show up with their fair share of problems. I’ve seen old samsungs and old iphones that still run great. And I’ve seen models that are only a year old on both ends run like shît. Maybe try and look for actual evidence and handle both os’s on many different models before picking a side. Also making up facts isn’t helping your case.
@Disgruntled Sock, it's a terrible design choice when you don't inform your users that their phone functionality is being sacrificed for a battery that could easily be replaced. Isn't it odd that when they got called out for it that batteries for iPhones went from $120 to $30. Then after finally added a function that shows battery life stats. That android phones have had for years.
@AllThanks, in my personal experience Androids (well I guess Samsung in my case) had been the worse value. I had a Note 3 when it was brand new and got super slow and only ever got up to lollipop. I did like customization but it wasn’t worth it. I changed to an iPhone 5S from the same era and to this day it still gets the newest iOS. It’s not fast by any means but it’s a lot better than using the note and the customer service at the Apple store if I break it is damn good. It really comes down to whatever you value more in a phone. Features and hardware longevity or simply and software longevity. Other than that who cares what you have we all use them for funny pics anyways. Lol
Can I download porn directly from the Internet on a Samsung phone? I can't seem to figure that one out on the iPhone and it would be a game changer for me
@VibratingButtChomper, Yes you can, I'm honestly a bit surprised to hear that you can't with an iPhone. With Samsungs all you have to do is hold down on the video you want to download and choose save as and it downloads right to your phone. For all of your promiscuous and innocent needs.
@Catbug, if you have something like OneDrive or google drive you can download files on iOS through safari. Not sure about videos but definitely things like PDFs and word docs.
Because it is
