@Lemmiwinks Kilmeister, this is how he sees us when we see him.
I mean... You're not wrong?
@Fat cow, go on..
@Fat cow, wat?!
R.I.P. Lemmy, you amazing man. Keep rocking! \m/
Trick question, LEMMY IS GOD.
I think it was along the lines of "I never wanted to look down and see only ten people and a dog." Or something to that extent.
Lemmy Kilmeister, a metal god. May he live on forever, rocking in heaven alongside Dio, Dimebag Darryl and all the other great metal musicians who passed far too soon.
Rock on, my friend
Shout out @Rattlehead Vision for mentioning me in the description! Also, I remember Lemmy saying he does this cause it helps open up his vocal chords or something like that...idk
@Lemmiwinks Kilmister, no problem!! Knew you'd get a kick out of it. I have heard that he does it for that reason too
What the heck is a Lemmy?
@Urban Achiever , God. He is a British fellow who was a roadie for Hendrix and then went on to found one of rock/metal's most prolific bands: Motörhëad. His real name is Ian Kilmeister but he goes by Lemmy. 40+ year music career and 22 albums all while running on Jack and coke and smoking. Only until recently did he have issues with his health. Now he drinks vodka. One of the main influences for 80s thrash metal.
Hope I explained his holiness enough
When you don't know who lemmy is
From being on stage several times myself, I'd say with spotlights like that it doesn't matter where he's looking, he's blinded regardless!
@IAmFlame, yes, yes he is and so am I every time I play live lol
Taking a wild guess here, but is it because he always looks up or something (I don't know who this is)
@E equals mcHammer, it's Lemmy Kilmister who's the lead singer of Motörhead. And he's known for always having his mic super high so he looks up and not at the crowd.
@Neil Peart, I believe he said in an interview once that it's because when he was first starting out as an artist, he didn't like looking down and only seeing a crowd of very few people and getting nervous that he wasn't good enough. And as his presence grew the setup just became normal for him.
@Dd3xxx, yeah now that you say that I remember reading that somewhere
@Neil Peart, Oh, thanks for explaining it
@Dd3xxx, also "opens his vocal chords" too. Don't know what truth that holds but he sticks to that story as well
