I'm still impressed that each animal has over ONE MILLION individual hairs on them. That itself completely blows me away about this movie.
@MickelPickel, most of the Hair is computer generated and placed
But it's not exactly hard to model something like that
It's been done to that detail for years
But only recently has it begun to move more towards movies and entertainment rather than RnD and engineering, etc
And be done on "lesser" computers
Even though they basically use 10k dollar machines
It's still much better than 50k+ albeit not quite as detailed down to the thousandth of an inch
@carguy25, it still astounds me though! It's like when the black hole from Interstellar was made using actual theoretical physics equations and was used as a reference for actual scientific papers; we're living in a really cool era of computer graphics and engineering.
@MickelPickel, if you like that then you'll love the Martian
Only real part not based in reality is the storm but he had to be stranded somehow
Rest of it was written with input by astronauts, engineers, and scientists imho it would have been better if there was some sort of other thing that stranded him but I can't really think of one so I don't mind too much
Considering no one caught on to the joke until they saw this picture, it isn't their best.
@ImNotRacistBut, I totally got it when I first saw the movie. There was also a reference to Weasleton vs Weasletown.
@TenorTwoPointO, I suppose I'm not as cultured as is culturally acceptable.
@ImNotRacistBut, I still found it pretty funny. Being self aware was never Disney's strong suit. Side note, I loved Zootopia! Yeah, the real life parellels are so obvious it hurts, but I still really enjoyed it.
@AIbert Finestein, I honestly completely missed it haha. I must've been on my phone scrolling through FP.
@ImNotRacistBut, it happens to the best of us. I never understand when people use words like 'fleek' or 'turnt.' After grueling research and study I eventually discovered that 'fam' was a new synonym of friend or bro.
@ImNotRacistBut, unless I've seen a movie before, I try to pay as much attention as possible. I loved the breaking bad references, the godfather references, the jokes, etc.
@TenorTwoPointO, sup fam? This party's turnt lolz, your turtle neck on on fleek tho!
@ImNotRacistBut, it's like they're trying to speak to me, I know it!
@TenorTwoPointO, I hate it when people type so illegibly that I have to re-read it 14 times and still manage to get a different meaning each time.
@TenorTwoPointO, another great movie! Shark bait oh hah hah!
@ImNotRacistBut, I know what you mean. I would attempt to answer in the form of something like that but I don't have faith in my ability to english!
@AIbert Finestein, yes it is. Hah hoo wah he hah oh oh oh.......
@TenorTwoPointO, I just shrug and get pissed off.
@ImNotRacistBut, fair enough.
@AIbert Finestein, welcome to being s furry
Resistance is futile
We'll get you sooner or later
@TenorTwoPointO, there was also a breaking bad reference
@rookie, I feel like I remember what it was but I can't think of it off the top of my head.
@TenorTwoPointO, it was the 2.sheep making the drugs to turn the animals savage
@rookie, right! Thanks for the reminder it was started to bug me.
@rookie, And 2 more named Woolter and Jesse
@Trump Repellant, Or maybe those were the same ones
When the weasel is selling DVDs he has a copy of Moana in there.
I guess he just couldn't hold it back anymore
