*knock knock* "Excuse me, do you have a moment to talk about our Lord and Savior, me?"
@I shjt you not, No. *sticks foot in door* Hey, I said no! *Banishes to hell*
@PieMa5ter11, I once did that and look at me, I'm healthy *loses left eye*
@NightStalker, ohhh THAT'S why they call you NightStalker
@I shjt you not, as a Christian I found this utterly hilarious.
So many people have offended in this comments section, I'm trying so hard to remain unaffected
God loves everyone and as part of his love for us he gave us free will that we can do whatever we want whether we choose to love him or not. In heaven we can be in unity with God and in hell we can be as far as we want to be away from God, but all good things come from God and that is a big reason why he'll is seen as so unpleasant. All of the good things that God gives us will not be present there and the bible does mention hell, google the story of Lazarus where there was a great chasm separating those that we're saved and those that weren't. Also look at the parable of the lambs and the goats in Matthew or the weeds and the wheat and how the wheat will be thrown into the fire. These are just a few more known readings. Always pray to God before reading the scripture for understanding as to not misinterpret or lack any understanding at all. Stay strong and God bless everyone, not just the Christians but the Muslims and the Buddhists and the atheists and agnostics as well because
@BlurredClarity, God values even the least of his brothers just as much as he does his followers. Even pagans bless those that bless them, as a Christian we're called to bless everyone and be a blessing too everyone, thanks for reading.
@BlurredClarity, *as Christians
@BlurredClarity, google this Deuteronomy 25:11 that story book is full of shjt like this.
@ODINKICKJESUSASS, http://marccortez.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/The-Law-on-Violent-Intervention-JSOT.pdf this provides different views of the reasons and meanings of this verse and the Assyrians in particular had a law similar to this where a woman would get one of her fingers cut off if she attacked a man in such a way that the man's genitals would be damaged to the point where he could no longer bear children etc. Scripture is not always easy to understand and many laws in the Old Testament were a lot harsher than laws we see today but I believe that a lot of that is because people's hearts were even more hardened, you can also look up many times where God called his people a "stiff-necked" generation. Even David, the wisest king didn't live an entirely exemplary life and none of us do today either. Look at sodom and Gomorrah, what town do you know today that just by visiting you might get raped. Through baptism the Holy Spirit is no longer limited to just influencing us,
@BlurredClarity, but the Holy Spirit can dwell inside us and help guide our actions. Some people may not believe that the Holy Spirit is real because you can't feel it see it or touch it, but I've heard so many people say my conscious is eating me up or my conscious tells me it's wrong. What if I told you your concours is the Holy Spirit letting you know that something is wrong and even letting you know what is right many times. People CAN feel God, they just don't realize it or they harden their hearts to the idea of such a thing.
I'm not angry or ranting (which probably means I am, haha) but why do people think like this? I get it's a joke and I do see the funny side of it, but it's not true at all! I just wonder why there are so many misconceptions like these that people actually think are true.
@SexyOnnaOtaku, if your God invented everything he invented sin, he invented sin to be in our nature, and told us that if we sin he'll torture us for eternity.
@Gavin, basically your god is kinda a douche, if I may paraphrase
@Gavin, in the Old Testament yes, because man had still not been forgiven for original sin (Adam and Eve). But after Jesus died for humanity we'll only go to hell if we don't return The Lord's love for us and shut him out of our lives. Even if in the last minute of your life you accepted Jesus into your heart you would go into heaven. The reasons we try not to sin now are because no matter what we do they will pull us away from God, and eventually we would loose our faith if we don't repent and ask for forgiveness. It's really not as awful and hell based as many people think!
@SexyOnnaOtaku, I could've sworn religion & politics was not to be spoken of on StuckPixel to avoid the chance of a massive debate & people getting their jimmies rustled...
@SexyOnnaOtaku, "we'll only go to to hell if we don't return The Lord's love for us and shut him out of our lives" I think that's the part the picture is talking about.
@Metzger, oops, sorry :( I just didn't want people to keep believing misconceptions, but I'll try to keep shushed!
@MisterSir, yeah, it's just put badly for said matter, but hey ho, this is funny pics, not religious pics so what can I say! Haha
@SexyOnnaOtaku, It's all good. I tend to remind people of this, because I was once told the same thing when I uploaded a pic on Demotivational that offended a good amount of people. So yeah, just spreading the word :)
@SexyOnnaOtaku, I like to play make-believe sometimes too
@SexyOnnaOtaku, even your heaven sounds awful for me. Worshipping God for the rest of existence? That would drive me insane. And humanity was being punished for something they had no part in? Okay, seems fair coming from an all loving god. And if they hadn't of taken that sin, none of us would exist by your logic, so the situation was a lose-lose. And who would your god be to judge us? If he is without sin then he can't relate to us. If he can't relate to us, how can he judge us to be tortured for the rest of time or to kiss his rear end for the rest of time?
@Gavin, Jehovah gave us free will and because of that, Satan uses these "last times" to tempt us with greed, sex, violence etc. and makes them seem better than it is. But we just have to hang in there because things are going to change for the better very soon. Nipples.
@Gavin, also hell does not exist. The bible gives no mention to the existence of hell. Christendom took things out of context and invented it to get money somehow. I cant remember how, i need to do my research. But the worst punishment possible is death. Painless, as if you were never born.
@Gavin, also we have to look forward to a resurrection on earth and live forever. Not heaven (yay!)
@Gavin, you are so ignorant. First of all, all sin and evil is caused by us humans allowing it to happen. God put us on this earth and told us to live and worship his commands and laws. Secondly, god doesnt torture us for eternity if we sin. If we did, we would all suffer because we've all sinned in our lives. Thats why he sent jesus to the earth. He forgives all our sins in this world as long as we keep our faith strong and pray to him. I dont know who told you all these lies but they really need help if thats what they assume with thought...
@kseggcar17, if your god created everything, then he created sin. I'm just pointing out the flawed logic. I have nothing against your God. I don't think he exists. I just think the logic behind it all is flawed.
@Gavin, @Gavin, you're completely retarded because you criticize christianity yet don't know that you are wrong with what you think about our religion. First of, sin is only created by us humans. Everything God makes is good just like it says in the first few pages of the old testament. Nothing bad comes from God. War, pollution, prostitution , drug use, etc is all created by us humans. Secondly, if God said that we will be tortured for eternity if we sin, then we would all go to hell because we have all sinned in our lives, none of us are perfect. Thats why God sent Jesus so that he may forgive us for all our sins and teach us to be faithful people who believe and follow his commandments and try our best to be good loving and forgiving people. That is all that is asked in return.
@SexyOnnaOtaku, I'm just going to pray over the people here because arguing is just making people angry and making them say stuff they shouldn't and bashing each other.. Please have a nice day and possibly reconsider some of your ideas of Christianity, or read the bible or Christian websites or something (or not), but either way God loves you all.
@kseggcar17, weird. So you're saying your God didn't invent the tree that invented sin? Funny. Oh. Prostitution was invented in the bible as a concubine system so that a man may marry multiple wives. Funny that you think that though. And maybe if the bible wasn't so outrageous and hypocritical and had left some sort of serious evidence, I would believe. And if you're God wants you to be good loving and forgiving then you're failing because you called me retarded. Oh boy I can feel the love.
I just want to say that just because something happened in the Bible doesn't mean it's God's will. The Bible is a history of man and his relationship to God or lack thereof at times. Also SexyOnnaOtaku is right that there is a misconception. The misconception is that God wants to send people to hell who are bad. Actually God wants to save people from hell. He didn't invent punishment. In fact that was always Satan's job and he abused it. That's why he's called the accuser because he wants judgement on everyone. That isn't God that's Satan because he wants to get back at God by hurting the people God cares the most about. People say God can do anything. But that's not quite true. He can't lie. That's in the bible. And he can't be unfair. Even God has to follow some rules because he cannot contradict his just and fair nature. That's why we are all given a choice. That's why he sent his son to bare our sins. This is the loophole that let's us be pure through a God who was perfect when we
@LAsnore, we not perfect ourselves. I don't wanna get in a big debate but this is what I believe and it has given me clarity and peace. Here are some scriptures that help. Matthew 25: 41 indicates that hell is made for Satan not for people and people only go there if they don't accept the loophole that God made because he is just. He says himself in 2 Peter I believe that he is not willing that any should parish (spiritual death in this context) but that all be saved.
@Gavin, so what you're saying is that free will sucks?
@Toad, you must be Christian.
@Gavin, wow.... No, just no. Sin is in our nature, but that isn't going to send you to hell. Please talk to a Christian in your life, they want to talk to you about it.
I feel like I am losing heaven points for enjoying this picture. *downloads pic anyway*
Kenny Loggins really wants you to open that door
*knock knock knock* Penny *knock knock knock* penny *knock knock knock* penny
