That woman had her finger on the trigger the entire time. I instinctively cringe every time I see it.
@Commander Peanuts, also the way she held the gun. Every fiber of my gun lovingness was cringing .
@Commander Peanuts, finger on the trigger, waving it around, even pointed at her husband, her grip... everything. Oof
I am honestly torn on this story. On one hand these people do have a right to protect their property when guns. On the other hand displaying themselves on their front lawn with the guns seems very hostile and asking for a protesting group to mess with them. And the protesters did by yelling at them and treatening to burn their house down and kill their dog. The protesters did break in to the community showing a sign of vandalism early on. Now the only thing I felt really wrong with the home owners is the wife literally just pointing a pistol at the group from the beginning. IDK I'm actually between an argument from my family's POV that the home owners are in the right and my gf POV which thinks they are in the wrong.
@Mr I Am Pooping, home owners were right 100% although they could definitely use some firearms training...
@Mr I Am Pooping, they actually went in and got the guns after receiving threats, originally they were eating dinner outside. The story as it seems from both sides was them yelling "hey this is private property!" Threats, got the guns, wife endangers her husband more than anyone else as the worst trained person that statistically I'm still pretty sure could actually intentionally fire the gun. I'm sure there's worse trained people, but I don't think they could actually fire it on purpose.
@MMSieBreeze, Yeah I mean, it's their property, they have a lawful right to come out and defend it, they're not agents of the federal or state governments so they're not over-stepping bounds, but their firearm discipline rings of "we bought these due to a mid-life crisis and have only been to the range twice."
@MMSieBreeze, @chefsavage, you disagree? Please tell me why.
@Mr I Am Pooping, I think we can all agree if a person threatens to kill a dog they aren’t good people.
@MMSieBreeze, whoa a downvote for suggesting firearm training, somebody is dumb...
@Mr I Am Pooping, their whole entire argument truly relies on whether or not the protesters broke the gate. The only video we have so far shows the protesters coming thru an unbroken gate. Then I can kinda understand the the feelings, but beyond all that I all I see is a guy putting himself his family and the whole neighborhood in danger. Unless those guns magically sprouted force fields they weren’t going to protect anything when out numbered 10+ to 1. All they really did is make the crowd mad and I know the term mob mentality is often used to dress down certain people online but in real life it is wicked powerful psychology that can lead to some really bad situations.
@Dimir FTW, it’s like they’ve never cared to see John Wick
@Thone09, it was an AR-15 with 30 round magazine. It's quite literally designed for 10+1 in that exact situation. Close range (sub 15 yards) with high speed rounds from the hip. It was literally easily 2 people per trigger pull possible based on the crowd view of how dense they were. We also later got security video of them breaking the gates, the initial was someone opened it for them. But like most of this, the problem was solved as the rich people bunkered down and hired security. They came back, they left immediately.
I freaking love that they are in memes now!
So what's the story on this guy?
@Auslander, these guys saw protestors walking by their house and walked out to their front lawn with their guns pointing them at protestors and saying if any of them cause damage to their house they would shoot them without warning
@Ray213, ha! Wow.
@Auslander, I believe these are the two who pointed guns at some thugs/protestors who broke into a gated community with the intent to vandalize/ demonstrate. The group was reportedly heading towards the house of the mayor and passed by their house on a private street. The couples argument is a mob of 100+ people broke through their “historic” wrought iron gate into their community trespassing on private property and they were scared, there were about 500 “protestors” present to demonstrate against the decision of the mayor to essentially DOX those calling for police reform.
@Andred, where was this at?
@Andred, yeah I would do it too, protesting or not you are not suppose to just roll up on somebody else’s property, what did they expect in a place where weapons are sold at Walmart...
@Ray213, why all the downvotes!?!? 😂 😂 you just said what was up with them
@seeUpee, I think the downvotes because what Ray213 said wasn't accurate.
@Ray213, Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t that a warning saying that you’d shoot someone without a warning?
@Commandshark, idk man I've walked onto someone's property in the boons of Tennessee unintentionally mind you to take a piss in the bushes and had a gun pointed at me. Not recently it was in 2017 when I did service calls at rendering plants in the summer for my dad. I dont believe in destruction of property especially others but i have been taught once you point a gun at a person be ready to fire. I also read the story and I kinda doubt the claim that protestors were so violent directly towards them without them starting it given the intent to reach the mayor's house. Feel about my comment how you will but be careful pointing a gun at people. A life is much more important than your garden gnomes.
@Andred, lets break into privat property to demonstrate against cops... Seems a bit counterproductive and like the cops need to show up to me
I hope all the black cops volunteered to go in to arrest the protesters for destruction of private property and trespassing that would be funny
Why do people flex their guns do their pp not work?
@whatthefrank, fûcking ignorance. The “protestors” literally broke down the gate to their neighborhood and HUNDREDS of people came in. They were on their property and were protecting themselves. You come on my property like that, and be prepared to be met with guns. And I know how to carry and shoot, not like the woman pictured above.
@whatthefrank, those 500 angry people would’ve probably been even angrier if this guy jumped up on his wall and flashed his dick at them instead of waving a gun around.
@big freedom, I’m just kidding, I don’t care! :)
