dreams are born in darkness
I had a dream once where I was standing in line for something and there were a bunch of other people in line. Somebody ran by me and then did a double take and looked back, it was weird because once I saw them I immediately realized that all the other people in line didn’t seem real (kinda like NPCs) and the person running seemed like a real person. They came up to me and whispered “they’re coming, it’s time to wake up” and I immediately woke up... it was weird guys...
@Earth Chan, What do you mean, woke up? You're still in a dream man. Take it from Yourself. I would know.
@Earth Chan, I had a dream once I was eating toast. It was weird because I didn't have bread.
I dreamed I still had time to spend life with my dog and my daughter, but it was too late, the chirema spell was already cast
@Earth Chan, I once had a dream I was married to Elon Musk and after sex I looked over at where he was and a card was there that said we need some space. A rocket launch then destroyed my house and I woke up.
@Barry Dylan, that was beautiful ಥ_ಥ
@Earth Chan, I dreamed of my cousin turning into a zombie. For some reason I recognized that I was dreaming and told my whole family to pack their stuff up. After that I grabbed my brother and told him to wake me up. I literally wake up to him shaking me and me just saying thank you. How the hell
I used to have dreams that seemed to last forever and when I died I would simply wake up in another dream, and I used to always be conscious of the fact that it was a dream. Sometimes they literally seemed like weeks. It kinda scares me how the human brain can alter the perception of time when in dreams, like maybe I’ll be stuck there “for good” even if I wake up the next day.
@Trance Gemini, that's actually cool though. It feels like you live a lot longer than you do
@18bluecat, Dreams are not always pleasant though... imagine being trapped in a never ending loop of nightmares, and since dreams are surreal and affect your emotions/perceptions, it could feel like an actual never ending hell...
@Blasphemy is Fun, like a genjutsu? Sorry I likely spelled that very wrong.
If I could type more easily on this app, I'd describe my many hallucinatory sleep paralysis episodes to you. Some genuinely creepy shìt.
@Doctor Krieger, I'm interested
@Doctor Krieger, Type it in notepad and copy paste
I remember having a dream about being on this planet. It was entirely covered in pink grass and gray ground. Tall, ebonyesque trees loomed over, much like weeping willows do. The tree leaves were much like palm trees. There was also a very peculiar pink fog that encovered all of the ground up to like 3 feet. The land was hilly. I started off by standing in front of a spaceship, similar to the millenium falcon but not exactly it. I remember hearing an erie noise behind me and i turned around to see this matallic being with 4 arms and 3 legs running towards me. I started to run away in fear eventually coming to a little ledge, in which i hid behind as i heard the being rumbling towards me. I came closer together as it came nearer and right as it was basically on top of I woke up......
Is it wierd that I still feel like i should find a planet as such and create civilation (and i forgot to mention that no living entities other than flora seemed to exist near me) on a planet as such.....?
Okay but real, do you guys ever have the thought that when you dream you’re just looking through the eyes of an alternate universe version of yourself? Because if so when you wake up from a nightmare your alternate version of yourself was left in a real fvcked situation.
When I was younger, my sister and myself shared a bunk bed in our bedroom. The room was simple, light blue covered the top half of the room, while a navy blue covered the bottom. What cut off the colors was a simple wallpaper that was for young kids. This wallpaper had cars and trucks made out of simple shapes like squares and circles. At the time I had stuffed animals at the end of my bed because me and my sister collected them. One night we were both asleep and I suddenly wake up. I see the vehicles from the wallpaper moving all around the room in straight lines parallel to each other. They were moving very quick when all of the sudden they all stopped. I then saw a green hand reach out from one of the trucks that then took one of my stuffed animals. The arm took the animal into the truck and started to reach for another one. I then pushed the rest towards the very end of my bed where the arm couldn't reach them. The arm then quickly retreated back into the truck and all the vehicles
@Fes, started moving again. My sister stayed asleep though the entire thing and doesn't remember anything happening. I don't really remember if I fell asleep after that or woke up from that. To this day I could never find the stuffed animal and don't know if all that happened was really a dream.
@Fes, sounds like sleep paralysis. You probably didn't even really move your toys, but just dreamed you did, if that's the case.
I hallucinated some weird and terrifying shìt as a kid in episodes of sleep paralysis. Wall decorations becoming animate was a common one for me.
Usually you're very aware of not being able to move, but sometimes you dream that you can even though you're not able to. And sometimes you get the sensation of movement while knowing that you are paralysed. My recent episodes involve a chain of dreaming that I woke up, being dragged from my bed by an unseen force, and then repeating that until I actually wake up. I feel the sensation of movement during this, although tactile sensations don't change or match up.
@Doctor Krieger, that could've very well been it, it was just the one missing is what always got to me
I had one in particular. I was sitting in a room. It was brightly lit except for one corner. In that corner was a silhouette with piercing eyes, staring. I asked others in the room. They just said she was Nata. Just ignore her. I couldn’t, and walked up. Everyone else began staring. I took her hand, and suddenly only that corner was bright. Everyone else was gone. I stepped into the light, and she smiled. She proceeded to deck me in the face and take my wallet. I woke up right before she stomped my head in.
I just tend to dream about fighting endless hordes of zombies or similar - I never die, although people around me usually do. Weird thing is, they’re not nightmares - not scary and I don’t wake up in a sweat or anything.
Apparently it’s probably an anxiety thing induced by stress at work - I think my subconscious brain really f**king hates my job. 😕
If I cared to remember them I’d post so many fvcked up dreams on here...
I’ve been looking for this to be a repost for so long !!! This shjt is crazy
I think that was Sea Man
Own your words.
One time when I was about 12, I had
a dream that I was being followed by...
...a big dog with rabies.
He had these bloodshot eyes...
...and foam came out of his mouth.
No matter how fast I ran, he just kept
gaining on me and gaining on me.
Then just before I got
to my front door...
...he jumped and sank his teeth in.
That's when I woke up...
...and felt the back of my neck.
Anyway Tony, 4 dollars a pound.
