No wonder link has such a way with words that he gets all the women hit and bothered for him
person: *gives hom a coin* play something melancholy!
Link: *strums lyre, yes I know link uses an ocarina*
kya ha hur haa!
*strums lyre again*
"Hur ha kyaaa!"
*people start tearing up*
"Hur ha hur ha kya ha!"
*everyone cheers and gives him money, he bows*
@codyl, he actually does use a couple though they are mislabelled as harps and one can be played in a (terrible) concert minigame the other one time travels
I put forth that Link is a hexblade warlock. The master sword is a sentient weapon, which could grant him some of his abilities (such as the energy launched from said sword in several games), while others come from being the goddess's chosen, reborn. And, most of his magical powers come from items.
@FalconHalo, depending on the game, Link could very well be most any class, he has some obvious traits from ranger, paladin, warlock, bard, fighter (though the prerequisites for that are simple to fill). But in twilight princess you could call him a druid and in many games he gets items and powers from the great fairies and it doesn't get much more warlock of the arch fey than that. In fact it would almost be more fun to find classes that Link doesn't fill as that may end up being a shorter list.
@FalconHalo, you forgot about the sword that divides him into four equally powered although differently outfitted beings so long as the weapon is equipped kinda curious is there an item like that in dnd
Spare a coin for your triforce, oh valley of chickens.
