Completely unrelated rant but just looking for opinions within the community I am 17 and was recently assaulted by a grown man in a McDonald’s parking lot. There is video proof of this, and I got the guys license plate before he left. I didn’t retaliate and called the police as soon as I could. They looked into it and it turns out he lives in a neighbouring city and it’s out of their jurisdiction so they aren’t doing anything about it other than putting out a warrant. Am I in the wrong for being frustrated with the lack of effort being put into arresting a grown man who assaulted a minor when their is video evidence and they know exactly who it is?

@ken bone, no way, you're definitely not in the wrong. This is why cops suck anymore, theres so much red tape that nothing ever gets done. I'd just get my own revenge and find out where the bastrd lives and egg his house and slash his tires. Cops will have you waiting till hell freezes over. But i am very sorry that happened to you, you didn't deserve it.
