I've always thought that dog years are misleading. It's only "7 human years" because the lifespan of dogs is 7 times shorter than that of a human, therefore 1 year is the equivalent to 7 years of the average lifespan of a dog. They don't experience time any differently. An hour is still and hour for a dog.
@Killer Kadoogan , Also, time is relative. The longer you live the more time has passed and the faster time seems to move.
@Killer Kadoogan , exactly! people be acting like dogs see us as the flash moving around at lightning speed as their life quickly melts away at a breakneck speed. Dogs just don’t live as long it doesn’t mean time moves faster.
Like humans dog age at diffrent rates. A one year old dog is about a 15 year old human. After that they slow down to 7 at around 5 years old.
I would say sarcastically that I’m fun at parties, but I was never invited to one so.
I'm pretty sure dogs and cats don't have much of a perception of time. They just know you've been gone and anything longer than a few hours seems like a distant memory so they get excited to see you. Most cats don't care though. But what do I know. I'm at work and I'm not wearing pants.
@Not Enrique, wait you are at work, and you have no pants?
