Good burn... until you realize the 25 year old is getting nearly twice as much as you to do the same job
@LeShook, at one of my jobs everyone was about 16 to 19 but there was one obnoxious 26 year old guy who thought he was higher up than us because he was older. 18 year olds were being promoted to supervisors and he still thought he was a boss. Some people are just awful
@PickUpDaSope, i had 2 coworkers like that and was blessed to see one of them get fired for chasing a shoplifter. Only the assistant managers can do that, she thought she was over everybody else.
@LeShook, I feel kind of bad for military purposes. In my job, I outrank people in their mid-thirties and I just turned 23. But I stop feeling bad if they call me just a baby.
At my job we hire younger folks to help out on the job site. Technically doing the same job, you get 16hr, I get 38. Suck my balls you big baby.
@RonaldUlyssesSwanson, 38? Still not full time?
@HSA, I think he means dollars an hour.
@Chintastic, that would make more sense, but that's a huge difference if it's for the same job
@RonaldUlyssesSwanson, do you do construction?
@HSA, it's a union job- base pay plus X amount.
@bootyquake, It was construction type work, yeah.
@RonaldUlyssesSwanson, cool, you do something else now?
@bootyquake, Yeah I'm in the Aerospace field; I teach people how to re-route electricity through in aircraft by creating bond paths. Sounds exiting. It isn't.
@RonaldUlyssesSwanson, whatever pays the bills is good man!
@bootyquake, Touché lol
I hear that all the time at my job. Except most of my co-workers are in their 40s.
@smeckledorfed, same here. At my station I'm the youngest at 24 and everyone else has been in the department about 30 years. But they're cool about it
@smeckledorfed, I honestly feel like a baby cuz I'm 21 and after me are a 26 and 29 year old, but after them the youngest guy is in his last 50s.
@smeckledorfed, I hear it all the time at my work...I'm 26 and the next youngest person is 40... But I have authority over everyone in the department except my boss, the controller, it's weird when 50 and 60 year olds call you "sir" all the time
I'm 18 and I used to work in retail with this 70 year old named Linda who liked to let me know I did everything wrong then when we got new management she told them that she had trained everyone
I've had this situation except I was training my older coworker to do the same job that I didn't even do anymore because I'd been with the company for years and they were brand new. Oh and I made almost double what he did at the time.
At 18 I was a supervisor over a 26 year old stuck up girl who used to disrespect me and not listen to me because "I'm older"! Funny how she was older yet I'm getting paid more, doing 2 times the work because she sucked, and has the respect of co-workers, she did not. Ugh people like that are the worst
Haha me 23. Collegues 50
Step 1: Apply ice directly to burn
Step 2: Lay down and try not to cry
Step 3: Cry alot
Exactly. So back the fvck up, Carla.
