I think Alexa is trolling me - whenever I want it to stop playing music, if I say “stop” it just stops, but if I say “please stop” it plays Stop by the Spice Girls instead.
@Nellybert , I'm failing to see an issue here.
@Nellybert , do you have an English accent?
@godricgryffindor, Yeah, came free with the birth certificate.
@Nellybert , have you seen the rants of people saying their Alex or google home does creepy things like laughs at jokes or tells them good night while they aren’t being used?
@rezd, Mine does none of that. It sometimes refuses to play on my speaker groups, or plays some random Swiss station instead of Radio 1, but nothing that creepy. Yet.
@Nellybert , depending on how you're saying it, alexa might misinterpret it as "play stop"
I use my manners with my mums alexa and my google. It's good manners and it costs nothing so why not?
@communistcat, google sometimes gives you a cheery chime in response to good manners
@Soulless at birth, she's only said that once to me but it shocked me. And I appreciate that sort of thing.
If you don't use your manners then you're a bish
My uncle literally just said thank
you to his google phone. I tried so hard no to cringe.
this comment didn't comment right please ignore. thanks
@G1ngerB0y, don't tell me what to do
I always thank my Alexa. Why Idk, but I do.
@BeccersEliz , Cause your mamma trained you right and its now habbit even though you are talking to a computer
My dad says please and thank you to Siri more than he does to my mum and I.
