#1 most affected country in the world baby!
@Beggar Mugger, 🎆🍔🇺🇲🍔🎆
@Beggar Mugger, china
@Beggar Mugger, not per capita! Don't worry, we'll get em later.
@Beggar Mugger, you mean the country with enough resources to report and test. India and others don't even bother (or hide it). Also thanks to our media and insurance reimbursements we're incredibly inflated.
@ARGluck, Many places don't have the physical resources to cope with a pandemic and measuring the impact simultaneously, never mind the corruption and fake news in the mix. Very often I find anyone who claims to be first is just unaware of the bigger fish.
@Beggar Mugger, Yeah, when you do the most testing you tend to come out with the most confirmed cases. And when you straight up lie about who died of it or not, it starts to seem like a lot of people have died.
@Beggar Mugger, 1/4 deaths I believe
Why are Americans so pumped to hear any sentence with usa in it?..
Nomatter how bad the senario
@YourProudFather, cuz we are proud no matter what! USA! USA! USA! 🇺🇸
@YourProudFather, I used to be really patriotic. Loved incorporateing our flag in things. But now? I'm just embarrassed and disappointed. Y'all can downvote me, I understand- but honestly you're an ignorant idiot if you don't agree with me to some degree. Not trying to offend anyone, just being real
@Wankershim, embarrassed and disappointed on the flag? Dang man, I could never say that... you need to live in another country to experience the greatness we are blessed with here.
@seeUpee, You see America as blessed with greatness, but in reality America just extradites is crimes, from killing innocents with drone strikes for American interests, to unfair trade practices, to relying on foreign slavery for simple clothing and chocolates. By hiding behind nationality, America feeds like a leech using world opinion to justify benefiting from inhumanity. Any country caught engaging in inhumanity is then strongly opposed by America, as though the African country is guilty for the actions of slavery, but Nestle who actively sought and committed the crime of child slavery is loved by kids of all ages in America. Your news keeps you distracted and proud so that the disgusting truth must be challenged, as it is foreign.
Greatness does not feed off the weak, does not exploit, and does not lie. America is not great.
@seeUpee, well compared to other first world developed countries, people there are generally better off than people here.
@Factory BOY, get out of here with that garabage... where you from BOY?
@Factory BOY, Name a country that hasn’t done corrupt or evil things. People who like to swat down the “America Greatness” statement by pointing out everything wrong America has ever done or an American business has done is missing the point of American Greatness. This country was founded on ideas that have made it unique. From its inception it enshrined the idea that mankind is made in God’s image and therefore the rights of man are from God and cannot been given by a government. And even though we haven’t always lived up to the promise that “all men are created equal” we’ve died for and continue to strive for that idea. People forget how young America is, we gave up imperialism faster than any other nation and have still risen to the top through ideas. Almost every world changing invention is made by an american, majority of foreign aide comes from america, agree/disagree with the foreign wars but America has stopped the advance of the Nazis and USSR to the benefit of so many peoples
@Factory BOY, you may insist we take the bad with the good, but vice versa. You need to acknowledge the good with the bad. Modern humans who have grown up in countries that don’t have people starving don’t understand the greatness of the systems we live under today. You see every injustice as a failure of the system but have no perspective of history.
Also, Africa isn’t a country...
@Snarfel Burger, I meant that sentence differently, preffering not to name particular countries because Nestle doesn't operate in just one country. I am aware fully as a South African
@Snarfel Burger, Your country's constitution does not stand out as a particularly good or effective one compared to other countries, you jus sold on that by your education.
I do not agree that past events justify current evils, although America did play a vital role in these fights, it also played a bigger one writing the stories of them.
I have been to America, with its strip mall and regular rebuild culture, not everywhere of course, but overconsumption is rampant and people are ignorant of their power as a Western country and how they then abuse it. America today FEEDS, what else?
@Snarfel Burger, I won't deny that America had done great things and the people here have it better than in many other countries. But its the fact that much of this "greatness" was achieved through not only the exploit of those in other countries, but also the exploit of our own population. There are people who have worked hard and made legitimate contributions to our development- that I will never deny because their efforts need to be recognized. The issue is with American attitude is our Patriotism makes us reluctant to be critical about the things our country does
@seeUpee, IMO, to be a real patriot, one needs to be critical about what their country does. Saying that im embarrassed means im legitimately concerned for where we are headed. Being patriotic isn't inherently bad, but letting that heavily skew ones perception of their country makes them ignorant to the bad thats happening
@Factory BOY, I promise you I’m not sold on the exceptionalism of my country or its constitution by my education. One of the things people don’t understand who were not brought up in the American education system is how much it loathes America today. Americans were maybe taught patriotic ideas decades ago but that hasn’t been true in a long time. Our Constitution is unique and it IS effective compared to other countries. It’s actually been cited by several other countries that have written their own constitutions. It’s actually the only one that guarantees a citizen’s right to freedom of speech (meaning it says Congress shall make no law that infringes our freedom of speech).
You’ve been taught (like everyone else) to look at all the sins of America and try to rewrite or atleast ignore the history of the world and this country. The planned expansion of communist regimes following WWII and the West halting that expansion cannot be understated.
@Factory BOY, I never said past events justify current evils but you seem to ignore the evils of other nations and see America as exceptionally evil.
Overconsumption IS rampant, you’re correct. But the fact that we live in a time/society where it is possible is more a point to the advances made under American systems.
@Wankershim, Not sure what patriotism you’re talking about? We’ve had schools and universities, movies, and entire culture shifts teaching us how awful the country we live in is. Americans are MORE critical of America than just about anyone else. Why do you think people drown just trying to get here? “Real” patriots do criticize this country, but the problem is too many critics get the idea of patriotism wrapped up in government and government decisions rather than the patriotism geared toward America’s shared culture, history, and values. In fact, there have been surveys done of American patriotism and left-wing Americans are more patriotic when our government and leaders are more left-wing, whereas right-wing Americans are consistently patriotic no matter who is in office. That’s because we have two different ideas of patriotism. If you think “patriots” are blinded and have skewed perceptions keeping them from criticizing their country’s actions, then you don’t know enough patriots.
@Wankershim, oh, and you say our greatness was achieved through exploiting our own people, are you referring to slavery? I hear people say that a lot, but that is very untrue. Many Northern states were free states from the beginning (meaning they had no slavery) the free North became industrialized without slavery and beat the socialist agricultural South (who built its economy on slavery) after the Civil War, the economy of the South was wrecked. America didn’t build it’s greatness through slavery, it built it’s greatness in spite of slavery. That’s a lie that has been shoved down our throats by so called “educators”
@Wankershim, Bro! What country is perfect? But my point as to say you are ashamed and embarrassed of the flag?. Nhaaaaa man... always represent! Never put your own county down... you don’t like it? Get out! Europe would love to have you... hell... china too... we aren’t perfect, I do agree with you... There are problems like everywhere else. But the freedom and opportunity here is unmatched.
USA 🇺🇸 ALL THE WAY TILL I DIE!
@seeUpee, I swear they try to make it so only the us has any dirty laundry. Have you ever picked up a history book. The fact we went from peasants to what we are now in the timespan we did is nothing short of a miracle
@voided sanity, “God has a special providence for fools, drunkards, and The United States of America...”

Is this a FP meta meme?
If it was going to be bad anywhere, it was America, look what the government did when people hijacked planes
