I want to go back to school and experience this
@megamanx181x, Sounds like the beginning to a history class equivalent of Dead Poets Society
@TheRatMan, oh Robin Williams...
“There’s gullible written on the ceiling” *doesn’t look up cause I don’t care*
@Natural Sarcasm , See that's the one thing I'd change going back to be a teacher. Screw homework, I'll grade heavily on participation and general effort being put into the class. I always hoped people who just purposefully didn't participate would just be removed from class until they did. One person like that in a class of only 15 really ruins the environment.
@Devils Conscious, being distracting and not participating are two different things. I wouldn’t kick a student out for not feeling engaged or for being shy
@Natural Sarcasm , I wouldn’t look because I was sleeping.
Doesn't look up because it's the first thing you saw when you entered the room for the first ever time..
What kind of psycho doesnt initially look around a room when entering it?
Hey that reminds me I actually did this in my chemistry class years ago! I drew gullible in big block writing and coloured it in a rainbow and when my teacher turned to the whiteboard I stood On my stool and reached right up and quickly stuck it to this little lip on the ceiling, and I was at the front of the class maybe 2 meters from my teacher. I eventually started to hear people talking about this "gullible" sign in that room and I thought it was amazing, a few Months went by and I told my teacher about it and he laughed and asked me to take it down, a few days later I did it again but told him a few days after again.
First lesson? In the middle of class? What kind of backwards school is this?
Definitely Chaotic Good. Doing bad things for good reasons.
Those who don’t study history are doomed to repeat it. So everyone is cuz history is boring af.
Maybe this is the motivation I need to teach social studies
