@Duttster, Nah, I think they met by chance and dated for a few years even with the persecution from others such as "You can't date her! She's DEAD!" or "Humans hate/fear us because they don't understand what it's like being a ghost, and he will too eventually". But they got past that and eventually had Erma, thus proving that love can go further beyond death itself.

I think Erma was conceived when her dad sat down to watch some porn when Samara climbed out the tv. Maybe he thought "Jackpot!"
