pretty much went like that
I always find it difficult to teach someone how to play Magic because you never know what play style they would prefer
@Langenator, I think it's easier for them to learn by playing one of the video game versions. It prevents them from breaking rules, and lets them try different card compositions without investing money
@Langenator, well you play to fine tune your idea of what you want to play since ive played for 4 years now ive played about 20 different decks and finally found mine and its so satisfying. But if you do ever learn to play then either start with modern on a budget or edh/commander (these two are the same thing) but its not what you play thats hard its finding how to play it properly and at a decent pace of playing
@Langenator, I learned purely by playing my friend's decks. Now I've got 3 Commander decks of my own. 1 I built without help. And I'm building 2 more over the rest of the year.
@Langenator, everyone learns how they like to play as they get invested in the game. All you have to do to show someone how to play is to play a game with them and make it fun.
@Langenator, As someone whos highschool had lunch tables reserved for magic the gathering games i herby formerly announce... I still have no fing clue how to play the game nor how its played. Friend of mine tried to teach me but it was like he was trying to teach calculus in Clingon. To this day it makes no fing sense. And this from a guy who used to play gen 1 yu-gi-oh. Smh. Yall sorcerers
Well it sounds like you'll have to duel me for them!
Then you have a kid and you come home one day and your cards are all over the room.
@BearDaniels, tell me they're at least in sleeves
@Sriracha, i only ever put my expensive cards in sleeves like 5$ up and the only cards that are worth less in sleeves are my olivia edh deck and affinity for modern. I do have a friend that raw dogs every card until he gets home to double sleeve it
@omnomnomivore, I only only put my sliver deck in sleeves. I have some valuable cards that should probably be in sleeves but they generally don't get used a lot.
I totally saw saggy boobs in the first frame
@kingdumpling, lol I can see that
Does anyone else just flip through these because there's too much to read?
