Where would those corporations operate now that you’ve taken their buildings? Another country that’ll benefit from the income.
@theprofprofessor, right? But that doesn’t matter cause businesses are bad grrrr
@theprofprofessor, you can't talk economy to a socialist. To them it doesn't exist the way it does any more than the worlds shape does to a flat earther
Just imagine for a second the condition that these houses will be in after a bunch of hobos live in them. They are used to sleeping in trash, do you think they will go out of their way for upkeep? Many homeless people are addicts. They don’t care as long as they get those drugs in their systems. You can’t just give people free stuff and expect them to take good care of it.
This whole post is ridiculous, or is that the point?
@Raki Zaki, the part that immediately gave away their idiocy was "3D print houses in a day"
Even if it took just one day, you have to design it. You have to account for the weight of the material, which is most likely weaker than most materials used to make houses. You also have to paint it. And those resources cost money.
Another thing is that this post bashes on people trying to make money from, you know, doing work. Having a job. Fvck the people in this post
@Invalid User, Also public houses in skyscrapers won't work, that's why large multi-story public housing blocks aren't built so much anymore in favour of individual houses, having large buildings like that would lead to higher crime rates and low upkeep, partially due to the defensible space theory
Also concentrating the questionable population in one area will also cause problems, that's one reason why scattered site housing has become more popular
A city near me did this and it was a complete disaster. They built apartments and then gave them to homeless people. Now the apartments are trashed and the people that live in them are living in squalor. There’s a big waiting list for homeless people to apply to move into the place and it has just become a big revolving door because people move in, promising to take care of the property and respect the rules, then they get kicked out for the damage done to the property or their drug abuse and the cycle starts over with someone else.
This must be part of the Green New Deal
At only $0.13 a bullet, the cheapest and fastest way is to get rid of homelessness is to execute the homeless on mass with a standard glock 9mm.
Just get a house 4House
