Molecular Cell Biology: took it in 2012, ex-premed. This is the info I used to stay smart about covid. I didn’t listen to popular opinion, media, or clickbait headlines. Point is, inform yourself, don’t trust others to inform you, as you’ll never have the background to verify that information yourself. Covid is a virus: standard virus prevention is all that’s necessary. This “hype” and “politicalization” has nothing to do with the virus. We’re all humans, pathogens are part of life, it’s how we’re responding that’s abnormal. Wake up people! But instead of all of us feeling like we’ve survived/conquered a serious threat, we all seem to just hate each other more. Why don’t we feel like a more empowered society right now? After months of us working together? Because the media keeps telling us everything’s still shjtty. Maybe the people running the media are shjtty, maybe the politicians are corrupt. Maybe society should stop tolerating toxic behavior from info sources we rely on.

@orion55, we, the people, (people reading this comment) are the regular people. We can think for ourselves, we can have dissenting opinions because we know were not experts just because a reporter said something we can regurgitate. Instead of focusing on why we don’t all agree on things, we should keep a watch on what seems to be stirring the pot, the media that keeps telling you what you want to hear so you never stop wanting to hear it. Im not the media, I’m a person. I believe in my own ability to reason about what’s right for my life. I also believe in YOU, and your ability to do the same. You know what you want, you know what you need, never EVER let someone else tell you what’s right for you. Trust yourself! Then maybe, we can start trusting each other again, and trust society again, and vote for politicians that will allow us to trust each other more. Instead of whatever we’re doing right now... peace and love!!
My favorite part is that its showing the manga cover instead of the anime
