I really loved this movie. Just a good movie. And it portrayed soldiers in a realistic light. It didn't make them out to be the morally superior men going after the godless evil terrorists. At least, not at much as other movies do. It was realistic and didn't lie or propagandize about the U.S. military like most movies do.

@Pmail, Everyone said it glorified war but it definitely did not. In my opinion they did exactly the opposite. Bradley Cooper was absolutely amazing.

@Pmail, can't go wrong with Clint Eastwood as director neither. Bradley portrayed Chris Kyle remarkably and the film was excellent

@Pmail, In my opinion, it deserved more than just a "Best Sound Editing" Oscar. I guess Hollywood is too liberal to do that to a movie portraying war realistically, I guess they just don't know good filmmaking when they see it.

@Pmail, I'm in the Army, and I just couldn't get into it. He's promoting this awful view point of our enemies being "savages" and less than human. His politics are utterly awful to be honest I'm sure he was a great guy but you have to question his intelligence after you learn about how he died. Too blindly patriotic for me.

@The Lizard King, I love how no one gave two shjts about Paul Walker until he died and then all of a sudden it was "OMG he was like my favorite actor!!" I had never even heard his name until the day he died, I just knew him as that guy from the Fast and Furious movies.
