@Sappy Poop Stain, I mean, it’s not like Marvel really beat DC to the punch. Batman and Superman movies have been around forever. Marvel just figured out how to make fun and exciting movies, and more importantly did so without rebooting every franchise over and over. Once DC gets that figured out they’ll be able to compete just fine.

@Scuzzinator, both franchises have been making movies forever, I was just saying marvel beat them to the punch with the shared universe. And like Berntley said, marvel reboots franchises just as much. They weren't the first to make fun and exciting superhero movies, they were just the first to make a large, shared universe with all their heroes

@Sappy Poop Stain, I feel the main problem with the dccu is that for the longest time nobody could agree on where to take the movies, some wanted as dark as you can get while others wanted fun and light, dark works for some characters like Batman but it doesn't work for Superman, then there was that whole thing with Zack Snyder (I think it was him) who basically insulted the Batman fans by saying they live in a fantasy world if they think Batman wouldn't kill, and what's truly sad is it seems like they finally know what to do but it's right after losing their Superman and Batman so they're gonna have to reboot a fee movies if they want to go forward
This always bums me out, because I've always thought the DC comics were way better, DC superheroes origin stories were more original, and the DC villains are muchhh more interesting than marvel villains. The only marvel superhero with good villains is spiderman. But marvel just beat DC to the punch with the cinematic universe, so now people think marvel is better, which I completely disagree with.
