I would screen shot this and email it to the professor and follow up in class
@megamanx181x, I’ve only encountered one professor myself that would have refused to work with a student if this kind of thing happened.
@wtninja, I had an economic teacher that refused to round up and grade on a curve, what a dick
@megamanx181x, I had a problem with an English professor who “didn’t give A’s” and my wife had a problem with an anatomy professor who was inconsistent with what labels he wanted for different body parts.
@wtninja, such divas
@megamanx181x, I have had teachers defend the program telling me I was wrong
@dadood fromcheers, horrible man
@megamanx181x, well you might not have realized it yet, but you're already looking at a screetshot/proof pic
@meeeh, but did he/she send it to the professor or only posted it online for the likes???????
@megamanx181x, I did that once. He gave me the points from that question, but deducted even more from others. He was the devil
@big freedom, what a dick!!
@megamanx181x, you have no idea. He was Chem prof. I actually think he enjoyed making it as difficult as possible.
@big freedom, some college professors have egos, I think since they were big shots or wannabe big shots at their work they bring it the classrooms. I had a “professor” who was a retired engineer that own his own crane company and he gave he most laziest lectures. Constantly looked at his watch so he could go home ASAP and he randomly graded the papers and we all got either A’s or B’s at random
@megamanx181x, well, that’s money well spent on an education.
@big freedom, if only the others were like that, that class didn’t affect the rest of my other studies but other engineer majors got screwed over as the next class up was directly related to the previous one
@wtninja, and those kinds of professors are why people should always check ratings
@Cpzombie, no kidding! I always did ratemyprofessor after that.
As someone who has taken some dumb test for class online I can confirm that this has happened to me a few times. Like the teachers just want to fuc* with you on purpose
@seeUpee, or you know mistakes were made when programming the answer making only one answer right is and issue in math they should have added both. Tbh I've had it happen tons even at my UC but you just tell the teacher and they fix it or you talk to the department head if they wont.
@Runnin with scissors, in my robotics class the teacher did it on purpose. He really did mess with us thru out the semester. If you walked away from your computer he would go and just put one extra letter that would mess up the coding to run the robots. I hated his ass but man what a great fun teacher he was
@seeUpee, I mean if he does that then at least it should not affect your grade
Had the same problem with similar software, except it said "round to the nearest thousandths", I looked at the ten thousandths, rounded correctly. It corrected me saying "you look at the hundred thousandths then round the ten thousandths and then round the thousandths based on the new ten thousandths result". This was on a multi part vector algebra air speed vs ground speed question.
When taking the nremt we where told if the question . what you treat first bright red bleeding or airway. Correct test answer is airway. In real life its blood. No point in allowing him to breath if theres no blood to transport the goods. Do yeah also in dive master training some rules are just text book and not real life.
