Obviously not THAT wealthy if he has a HOA.
@ThePandaPool , but hes still my hero.
@ThePandaPool , anyone who fvcks with their HOA is my hero too... Im glad I don’t have one when I bought my house. I’m not a fan of remodeling condos especially... is like old people have nothing better to do than to come complain at me. From my truck been park on the street on their side (not blocking any driveways or in the way of no one just in front of their condo) to “you guys are too loud and I will call the cops” is 11am, we can make all the noise we want! Latest one was when we put a fence up and the good side was facing my customer... the other guy threw a fit and got the HOA involved. Took three day’s to solve the problem so everything was on hold. The HOA ruled on our favor. Since my customer was paying for it he could put it any way he wanted. For the remainder of the time the neighbor would walk along side the fence as we are working like just asking to get hit
@seeUpee, old people suck
@ThePandaPool , maybe he's wealthy but lives in a modest home, not everyone needs all that space you know.
@seeUpee, euthanize the elderly. Boom. Problem solved.
@ThePandaPool , nhaaaa man, there are a lot of elder people that are nice. From my experience is the ones that live in condos that seem to be more stuck up
@seeUpee, well they obviously made poor life choices to end up retiring into a condo...
@ThePandaPool , not necessarily. My folks have a huge house right now. The upkeep is ridiculous. They are looking into moving into a condo when they retire in two years. Will not have to do any mowing, exterior maintenance as is covered by the HOA fees. Going to buy a Sprinter camper and just travel all over the USA and Europe
@ThePandaPool , the hoa fees for a ritzy neighborhood here with a golf course with all the trimmings is $50,000 a year in Oklahoma (the irony being its okla-fûcking-homa, one of the lowest cost of living states.) So relative to what is wealthy to you?
@LightskinDarkNig, every time I consider agreeing with you the word stupid is all that comes out.
@ThePandaPool , hey bro, it’s not much but at least it’s honest
I feel like a neighborhood tank would raise property values. I know I'd pay more to live next to someone with a tank
Problem is crappy hoa can level fines and even put a lien on your house in some areas
@thejamesshow00, ok finally! I’ve been wondering wtf they can actually *DO* other than leave notices and potentially call the city to get involved. But a lien!? That’s a bit much.
@Leslie Knope 2020, they can for sure put a lien on your property, almost happened to a friend of mine
@thejamesshow00, if I recall this correctly from a year or two ago, this guy was a successful lawyer and had no problem fighting with them about it
@thejamesshow00, hoas can go fvck themselves...ill be damned if someone tells me what to do with my own property...
@MMSieBreeze, just dont buy a house with a HOA. Maybe if they become unpopular enough, they'll go away.
@ThePandaPool , i didnt...refused to...
Time to pull the guidelines out and look for a loop hole
@megamanx181x, or just creat a loop hole with that 75 mm.
@The Flame War, now that’s thinking with cannons!
@megamanx181x, pretty sure when the second amendment promised the right to bear arms this is not what they meant
@eleven, you could not be more wrong
If my HOA wants to tell me what to do they can pay a portion of my mortgage
These days, being a part of an HOA will TANK your real estate value.
I think HOA’s suck, but if you agree to the rules of one you should follow them. If you don’t like the rules don’t join
