From douche to clown
He did a great job at making you hate him in Gladiator.
@ThePandaPool , I was mad for days after watching it.
Are you not entertained?!
First movie I recall was gladiator but I loved him as Johnny cash in walk the line
Or ladder 49...
@Firefighter95, that's my dads favorite movie I think. He was a volunteer firefighter and every time he started dating someone new (3-4 different people) that was always the first movie they would watch
@Pvt BB Ghanoush, yup. Its tradition. Best fire movie around. Besides only the brave
@Firefighter95, The Towering Inferno...
@Poser Pete, I'd agree that it's a great movie, but it's in a different class. When I said best fire movie, i intended it to mean best firefighter centric movie. More than one call but an entire look into the life. But thanks now I want to rewatch The Towering Inferno.
@Firefighter95, or walk the line for johnny cash fans
@VibratingButtChomper, *Gen X-er
@SimonPetrikov, Millennials watched it too
@AussiePatrick, no they ruined that industry too
@AussiePatrick, Yeah but the target audience was adults in the early 2000s
And he was in Signs, which is still a great movie.
I met him in signs
And a whole generation never knew River
It’s all about SpaceCamp!! Joaquin Phoenix AND Marty McFly’s mom! Unbeatable!!
AM I NOT MERCIFUL?!
Same character. Brilliant.
How do you actually pronounce his name?
@11as117, Wa-Keen Fee-Nix.
@11as117, fun fact, it’s not his birth name. His family was part of a cult and when they left they adopted the surname “Phoenix”. It was originally “bottom”. Which made his brother’s (RIP) birth name “River Bottom”.
@shnickelfritz, further fun fact, he also used the name “Leaf Phoenix” for awhile until he was 15 because he wanted a nature name like his siblings (River, Rain, and Summer).
He is almost unrecognizable in Joker.
