Well that's what humans get when you turn mental illness into a status symbol.
@M0RT0S, get depression, all the cool kids have it
@M0RT0S, sorry man, can only upvote you once.
@M0RT0S, THANK YOU
@LoveTheBomb137, uh, no prob.
@Richard Cypher, wait I’m cool now? I’ll finally be noticed
@M0RT0S, exactly! I’ve been screaming this for years, kids literally think it’s COOL to have a mental illness! we should leave this world behind
One time I was at work and during a particularly slow time, I was talking with one of my coworkers. I don't remember the whole conversation, but I said, "I feel depressed." She asked if I had depression to which I responded in the negative, she then went on a huge rant about how if I wasn't diagnosed with depression there's no way I could feel depressed. From my point of view, feeling depressed and depression are two different things and just because someone feels depressed doesn't mean they have depression. Don't get me wrong, I understand that there are people out there who are battling depression every day and I respect them for the effort that they are putting in despite the crushing weight they have to carry. Rant over.
@Magnifico, I agree man, don’t need to be crippled with depression to feel some form of it that brings down your life
@Magnifico, That’s not even an opinion based or “point of view” type of situation! You are 100% right you can be depressed and not have depression. Depression isn’t about feeling “Depressed” it’s way more than one emotion! You sir have an ignorant coworker and I don’t mean that I’m a negative way I mean that in the very literal sense of the term :)
How could anybody feel sad in this post-modernist utopia?

That's the only true diagnoses.
