As someone with friends named Conor, Alastair, Annathia, Trystan, and Chayeh, I've gotten pretty pro at that
@McGeek, do you by any chance live in a dystopian ya book?
@ApresMoi, you know, now that you say it, that would explain a lot of things. Like how we all have weird niche superpowers and our government has turned corrupt and is hunting us.....nah it's probably a coincidence
Its hard when your name can be spelled multiple different ways like jared or jarred or jarrod or jarod
@Mr Brownstone05, I know a jerad
@Varok Saurfang, see! Its frustrating
@Mr Brownstone05, I feel like Jared us pronounced jeer-ed and Jerod is jerr-odd, though. Just my opinion though.
I go by R.T. an you'd be amazed how many people spell it wrong. It's fvcking letters!
@Redtiger, must be tough R2D2
@Krypteia, I can't believe Obi-Wan dies in episode IV
My reenlistment paperwork has my first name spelled wrong. And my high school diploma had to be remade. Think before you name your kids something unique.
@The Silver Queen, "The Silver Queen" is pretty easy to spell tho
@The Puppet Man, Maybe it's all the other titles... Daenerys is quite hard to spell...
@The Silver Queen, just go by Dae. Like Bae, but less cancerous.
@The Silver Queer, aw damnit
My own flesh and blood brother, he's 21 and I'm 20, put me down as a reference for an application and had to ask me how to spell my first name.
Sad sad Paypay.
Now all he needs is a mask and he'll be mistaken for the grinch
Ya that's how my friend Neviditha Rajagopolan felt all the time..
I have a friend named Alena. People get her name wrong all the time. It also really bugs her when I call her Lenny. 😋

Grandma..... Always off by a letter.
