I question stuff like this because of where the cameras are placed. Are they supposed to be fake?
@Death by Snu Snu , Art is a lie. NOTHING IS REAL
@Death by Snu Snu , maybe it's really zoomed? Idk
@Death by Snu Snu , it's probably fake but I'd say it's still funny. The point is to show off a really cool idea
@Death by Snu Snu , it's a hidden camera show, the captions were added by whoever made the gif. All of the pranks on Just for Laughs are unscripted
@Death by Snu Snu , They use hidden cameras. Its amazing where you can hide cameras now. Pens, glasses, shirts, hats, cups, almost anywhere.
@Dr Rick Sanchez, No one's where they should be, we're all gonna die, come watch TV?
@Death by Snu Snu , I don't buy it, the camera work is too good and there's way too many for this to be real - though the prank idea is really cool and innocent which is great, the more recent pranks are so toxic and have lost meaning
@Dr Rick Sanchez, I'M WEARING MAKEUP
@Dr Rick Sanchez, bo burnham will forever live on.
@Dr Rick Sanchez, Picasso once said "art is a lie that tells the truth"
@Death by Snu Snu , alot of stuff is shot before hand. The close up shots of the old lady and the photo, then they have hidden cameras with zoom to capture "victim" footage. After that editing is done and they mix match footage together.
@Dr Rick Sanchez, what
@Death by Snu Snu , Welcome to YouTube pranks 101. I'll be your guide through this tour!
@Death by Snu Snu , if it yses the current method of prank vids on youtube, then its fake
@Dr Rick Sanchez, READ A BOOK!
Oh look, the top comment isn't by Michael Fassbender
@AMAZlNG SPlDERMAN, It technically shouldn't count for him, he upvotes every single one of his own comments
@TasteMySquanch, what's wrong with that? Thats like saying the free bingo slot is cheating. Its when you downvote others, that's when it's bad.
@Exotic Xer, As far as I remember, it's been an unofficial rule of FunnyPics to not upvote your own comments. It's seen as egotistical, arrogant, and underhanded.
Ever notice how his comments only ever show up in the first few minutes of a new update? That's because he tries to get there early so he can comment, upvote himself, and he immediately has a top comment spot. From there people see his "top" comment first which usually results in more upvotes for him regardless of how little thought he put into it.
It's not like taking the free spot in Bingo. It's like taking the free spot in Bingo and taking an extra spot every turn just because you think you deserve to win.
@TasteMySquanch, a while ago I remember a pic where ppl had the discussion of whether it was acceptable to do so or not. I'm only repeating what most people agreed on, that upvoting your own comment is fine. Things may have changed since then, or maybe different people think different things, but I personally don't think it's that big of a deal :)
@Exotic Xer, It just seems to me like he's being needlessly competitive about it (how else do you think he was top commenter last month?). Plus I realized some popular commenters do it too like KaijuKoitus and occasionally Sir Bionic, thing is their comments are actually funny and not carpet-bombed across the entire update.
@TasteMySquanch, up voting you're own comment is pretty much if you gave yourself a like on your own facebook status. It just looks pathetic
@TasteMySquanch, ive never actually seen him before this update, but yes I'll agree with you then if he's been "carpet bombing" updates while upvoting himself haha
@TasteMySquanch, yes, just because you can, doesn't mean you should.
@TasteMySquanch, don't be jealous
@AMAZlNG SPlDERMAN, no, but his name is still in the top comment
@TasteMySquanch, and the thing is that now we have a leader board so if you just start commenting on every picture and just keep going on and keep upvoting yourself it will be counting towards your position. What always confused me was that I never really saw any of his comments having more than 5 upvotes but he always held number one position last month. Some of his comments were pretty funny though. I've never upvoteded myself nor any of my pictures and I never will because I want the community to decide. Obviously you agree with yourself because you're the one that made the comment so why upvote it?
@TasteMySquanch, fvck now we have another attention whore, and right when I thought we were done with I shjt you not..
@arsehole , Hey, at least I shjt you not contributed a lot to the community. Fassy hasn't uploaded anything in months
@TasteMySquanch, I did not mean for this to become what it did...it was just a simple comment...*swing away crying*
@Slickrick, I'd say it's less pathetic than going to the trouble to find out if someone upvoted their own comment.
@the fork, it's actually obvious when you get to a new update and someone has the only upvotes and all their comments show 1m or less. It's no trouble at all, really.
@Donald Trump, in that situation. And even then is extrapolating.
@Bonersaurus, I noticed that last month, too.
@Donald Trump, And sure enough, there he (Michael Fassbender) is on the commenter leaderboard despite not having to work for it
@TasteMySquanch, commenting on every picture seems like work to me. I just don't think that makes someone a top commenter in my mind.
@Donald Trump, And the self-upvoting exploit he uses tells me he's just here for the points
Is there no limit to the length of a gif
@Devils Avocado, if you think THIS is long you should see my weinerr
Don't shush me! Who am I gonna tell?
@ManWithHair, now you slip her Roofie's and post the video to her Facebook wall. She will be very confused
Don't do this to anyone you may suspect is a Supernatural fan. They'll flip out.
I was totally expecting dickbutt. Slightly dissapointed
It takes 5 minutes to develop that type of picture, give or take. You hit the button, it comes out all gray until it slowly gets clearer until the picture finishes developing. She should have known, even if it wasn't for the camera that was over 20 years old
@Ihateyourstupidpic, well if this was a recent stunt. She may not have known. The younger generation aren't use to seeing these things if they ever see them at all in real life. They only see them as jokes on tv shows which also never show how long it takes to develop.
Good old gramma Polaroid.
This gif speaks to me on a personal level. Or at least an extra-planar level
They couldn't play the whole reaction cuz they'll get sued
It's just a prank bro!
