Not good enough
@MMSieBreeze, I agree
@MMSieBreeze, I'm doing my part to increase that percentage
@MMSieBreeze, dude, I’m only allowed to buy so much per state limit at a time lol
@MMSieBreeze, "there will be a gun behind every blade of grass. "
@ThePandaPool , well there’s a lot of grass still unaccounted for
@MMSieBreeze, *buys 23% more of the world's guns*
There we go.
@MMSieBreeze, I’m getting my type 07 FFL soon. I’ll do my part.
@MMSieBreeze, time to go buy more guns
Those are rookie numbers we gotta raise that up!
@Your Broken slinky, lol
I know I'm going to get downvoted af for this, but gun consumerism in the US is whack. Not only do we own almost half of the worlds guns, but we also import the most. A whole third of guns in America are imported, but America only exported around a third to the global supply. Having your export rate and import rate equal is not good for the economy. I don't give a heck about your right to bare arms, I just think that buying crap loads of guns doesn't actually help the economy, unless you own more American made guns than imported. I strongly desire a civilian model P90 (i think the designation is just PS90), but I know I'm going to have to buy 2 Remington products to compensate.
@crazylampshademan, EVERYONE THROW ROTTEN VEGETABLES AT THE ISOLATIONIST!!!! Nah... just yankin’ your chain. I agree with this. Which is why I have a Ruger, an Iver Johnson, a Remington, and a Winchester to offset my Walther.
@XiozTaschez, hey thanks!
@crazylampshademan, meh. Rather own something reliable and cheaper (Glock) than spend a bunch of $ and have issues whole time I own it (Kimber).
@XiozTaschez, ive got an Ivor Johnson over 100 years old.
@GunLovingMerican, Never understood why Americans love guns so much. I'm not saying this as a bad thing, just when you compare how much Americans love guns compared to like, everywhere else it's kind of weird. If this meme is true then America (which is roughly 5% the world population) owns 46% of the guns, so Americans have 7 times as many guns on average then people from other countries.
@Duncan5769, it's one of the things that makes Americans somewhat unique, something we have a right to that not a lot of other citizens do. That's probably part of the reason. We love practicing that right. On the other hand there are a ton of Americans who abhor guns. I feel like once you actually learn about and get to shoot guns you'll either love them or be indifferent, a lot of the hate comes out of ignorance as it usually does for many other things.
@Duncan5769, I think it's the age and formation of our country. We're comparatively young as a nation, just 242 years old. Our independence was won on the sweat of farmers and Quakers basically, with homemade defenses. We had the wild west. Gun manufacturing became a necessity and as a side effect, a major trade. America's pro gun culture started at the nations conception really, while other big, but already established countries had firearms develope into an already established culture. plus I think we're the only country with gun law referenced in it's constitution.
@Duncan5769, You also have to remember that it's one reason that we are even a country. A bunch of pissed of farmers and such wouldn't have gotten anywhere again the Brits with pitch forks and torches
@crazylampshademan, agree here 100%. Most of my family’s hunting rifles and shotguns are American made which is the only reason I don’t feel bad about saving up for a 92 Compact
@crazylampshademan, it doesn’t help, but it don’t hurt.
You wanna fvck with us in our turf?
So many guns and I don’t even own one.. I need to do my part
@Your Darkest Secret, hey, careful now. Once you buy one you'll never be able to have enough. Lol
@Your Darkest Secret, yes you do! Start out with an STI 2011
@Light Skinned Brotha, i don’t think I have enough to buy one lol
Guess we gotta Liberate the rest of the world from guns...
I would have thought that we owned more than that.
@ORGANIC, let me put it into perspective for you. In America, there are 101 guns per 100 people, over a 1:1 ratio. The country with the next highest rate is Serbia, with only 58 guns per 100 people, or about 1:2. That means that while we only own a third, we still own double what the next guy has.
@crazylampshademan, we can do better, we need to aim for at least 2:1 guns to people
@Hot Coffee, I don't think that would be great. There would be a massive I flux of illegal gun ownership because that kind of flood of supply would force guns to be sold very cheaply. You see, gun crime actually went up with the invention of brands like High Point, a manufacturer that produces very cheap guns. Gun collectors and enthusiasts don't buy cheap guns, but criminals looking for disposable tools do. Illegal dealers do because they can buy a batch and sell them off with mark up.
Let's make it 50! One percent per state!
USA USA USA USA 🇺🇲🇺🇸🇺🇲🦅
To be fair we give away a lot of our guns to needy 3rd world country's so we have people to kill
@Thee6Scythian, ha! "Giveaway"
Wonder which side can use them in self-defense though. 😜
Looks like pre k going through cwp training
We also own 98% of the world’s freedom.
Sounds about right
I’d say the goal would be 50+
That’s not even a majority. We need to come together as a nation and step it up!
I need to buy more guns.
Guess I’m not doing enough. Who’s going to the gun show with me this weekend?
@BigJohnson86, I’ll drive
@ImNotRacistBut, is your truck big enough? We’re gonna need a lot of guns
@BigJohnson86, I drive a tundra, so no.
@ImNotRacistBut, we can take my truck then. You bring snacks and beer
and only 2% of that is owned by the US army. 98% is owned by teenagers
Thanks to nicholas cage Africa has the rest
Only 1 billion guns? That number seems a bit..... Low? I dont know for a race of beings that have wars and rebellions almost every few years that math doesnt really add up
