It's the super bowl. No the world championship, but it might as well be. No other countries play like we do, no other countries want to play, and in the NFL, they have players from all over the world. It's similar to the world series, in that there are only teams from America and Canada, but the best players from all across the globe play. I do think it's stupid that American football and baseball are not in the olympics, just cause we are good at it. How about if canada or Russia wins another hockey medal, we get rid of that, and might as well get rid of all the swimming, cause we win that a lot too.

@Fatpossum, the reason why baseball and football (or rugby as the rest of the world calls it) is not an Olympic sport is because no other country's really play it, sure some people do, but most people play soccer (real football). I do like American football better than most sports and I'm from the uk, it's just the fact how much it cost to get all the gear and to pay for the events. It's astounding!

Winning the Super Bowl is like like winning the special Olympics. Every ones proud f you and all, but know you wouldn't be able to compete in the real world of sports. That's why America isn't good at Rugby, Soccer (Football), and all the other common sports shared by the rest of the world. Isolationists.

@Chemistbyprofession, no it's cause most of the rest of the world is poor, and you only need a ball, or something ball like to play soccer and rugby. Also, you never hear of a former rugby star Tearin up football, and you wanna know why? It's because they dont wanna get hurt being tackled by some of biggest meanest and most athletic men in the world. I don't blame them, patrick Willis in a scary mutha

@MAN THE HARPOON, as one of the largest countries in the world it would be difficult for you not to win lots of medals seeing as you have a very high population. Although impressive smaller countries like the UK coming third in the Olympics when faced with other huge international powers is slightly more impressive. But still nice one America.
