Canadian Halloween be like: will it snow? Will it rain? Both? Both. And some hail for good measure.
Then every 5 or so years its some freakish 15°C Halloween and everyone's makeup melts
@ Tobias Widower, I came to Canada two months ago for college and I was excited for my first Halloween here but now I'm scared.
@AnotherLurker, it really depends where you are. I lived in Manitoba as a kid and we always had about a foot and a half of snow at Halloween and like -20 degree weather (Celsius). Now I’m in British Columbia and Halloween’s generally have no snow, with weather that goes to like -2 at night.
@AnotherLurker, good costume ideas that can give a lot of temperature control: lumberjack, anything with a flight/jumpsuit, classic burglar, firefighter, redneck in a blaze orange or camouflage coat. Just some easy ideas
@ Tobias Widower, oh, don’t forget the classic white-sheet-with-eye-holes-cut-out ghost. I used that once. Wore a winter coat under it.
@Fuggles, Oh, I'm in Toronto so I shouldn't be expecting -20 degrees on Halloween, right...?
@AnotherLurker, admittedly I’m not overly familiar with Toronto weather, but I believe it should be warmer than -20 degree.
California here we for 87 degrees days and 67 degree nights so far
