*waiting for someone to "ok Boomer" me, a millennial for ragging on my own generation
@ThePandaPool , "You have a lot of nerve being right"
@SimonPetrikov, i disagree! He is correct, not right.
I think I’m the opposite of that for a millennial, just struggle making money
@megamanx181x, in the end we all trying to make money.
@megamanx181x, I struggle to be awake for all the money I make
@megamanx181x, you weren’t raised by snow plow parents
@Dimir FTW, need that cash!!
@seeUpee, ho ho ho mister Rockefeller here!
@Hot Coffee, thank goodness for that
@megamanx181x, ahaha, but aren’t you in that nice job now?
@seeUpee, sure but you know the story, it’s never enough!
@megamanx181x, I feel ya... I feel ya... is that money thirst!
@seeUpee, and god damn I’m thirsty!
@megamanx181x, I want to drown of how thirsty I am
Sometimes I wonder if the world has just gotten a lot more complicated and difficult to survive in in the last few decades. Some things have gotten a lot easier for sure, but it just seems like everything from getting a job to finding a place to live to even going to college seems to ether be more expensive (calculated for inflation) or just far more complicated than it was say before the 1970s. I’m always amazed to read how easy it was to get a decent job and a place to live in the earlier part of the twentieth century, and college was cheap too, and mostly unnecessary for most jobs anyway.
@Block1187, totally agree on the job part. Now days everything requieres a degree or extra training for shjt pay. On the housing part... depend where you live. Tennessee here is cheap as hell where I am at on property taxes
I’m not anxious, stressed, and socially awkward because I’m a millennial.
I mean, I am all those things, but still.
I wouldn't say I'm socially awkward. I just don't like most people because they're idiots
@Effectpanda, “Think about how stupid the average person is. Now realize that half of them are even dumber than that.”
...I was gonna argue against that but then I remembered I got a little nervous yesterday for a friend's surprise birthday party. So that's fair
As technically a “millennial” myself, I think most people think they have “social anxiety” but are actually just shy
Is 24 millennial or gen z? I hear it’s right on the cut off and I’d much rather be Gen Z. I actually have a will to live
@ReverseGiraffe, right now it’s being considered to be as late as 1996-2001. Which means right now you’re a millennial. I’m personally on the edge if it’s the lowest year, 96.
@The Pun Shielder, darn I’m November 1995. I don’t want no damn avocado toast and crippling debt
I got a job waiting tables because it was the scariest thing I could think of. It took some doing, but it really helped.
