I always find that whenever an owner is concerned about a pet escaping, you need to wonder when does it stop being a pet and instead become just a furry prisoner who has no way to ask for help
@Cabbage Salesman, I had a situation with my dog a couple years back where the neighbors would shoot at it whenever it escapes, so now I have a different dog and I don't let it escape. But I get what you're saying
@RyanJoe, shoot? What kind of fvcking neighbors do you have?
@A pet named Steve, lol they're a little extreme
@Cabbage Salesman, sometimes, pets wander off without wanting to escape. Budgies or dogs for example get lost easily. It happened with my own dog Floyd some years ago. He escaped through an open garden fence and, somehow, managed to walk several Kilometer through the whole city while being 13 years old and sick with arthritis. He was the happiest dog ever when we came to pick him up from the shelter he was brought to. I drove around the neighborhood and the forest near me for hours, asking everyone if they had seen him, and I was shouting his name until my throat hurt. If I'd have known that he travelled to the other side of the city... Anyway, point is, sometimes pets escape and get lost because they don't know any better, but sometimes they do escape out of fear or unhappiness, you're right at that.
@RyanJoe, a little, yeah...
@Cabbage Salesman, my dog is a pointer so when he was younger he would try to chase animals out of the backyard. But now that he is older is more trained so even if the door is open he'll just chill in the front yard and then just come back inside.
@RyanJoe, there is no lol in this situation. I would ruin my neighbors if they did that. I really don't care if I ended up doing jail time.
@Cabbage Salesman, When Pixar gets ahold of it.
@Cabbage Salesman, *starts to rethink life*
@RyanJoe, I want to shoot your fvcking neighbors
@RyanJoe, "your dog escaped so i shot it"
"I will fvcking shove the gun up your arse and blow your fvcking brains out"
@Cabbage Salesman, i dont want my dogs to escape because theyre curious and would get lost. Theyre also very little therefore vulnerable to predators. One day though, my parents left the gate open. Three dogs, saw this gate, and chose not to leave, the fourth decided to, i ran around for about 30 min looking for him before i came back and saw him sitting at the back door. He just left to go sh!t on someones lawn i just know it.
As someone who boards dogs at my house occasionally, reading this made me cringe, especially the "FaceTime so I can talk to her". The point of being on vacation is to relax and not worry about things at home
@AzureSkyKnight, absolutely, I feel bad for the dog
My dogs name is pepper, too. 😊
....and nobody cares! Cool story, me!
@I Are Lebo, #pepperlivesmatter
@I Are Lebo, i care, pepper is a good doggo 15/10 would totally pet
Didn't say anything about eating Pepper
@Banetersaurus Rex, that's good eating.
Somehow I hate pepper.
@GunSupporter, i hear when you hate someone it's cause you see the bad stuff in you in them... you spoiled ass brat
I hate both people who are like this about dogs and typically the little yapping 'dogs' they own
Small dogs that keep barking at anything that moves are so fvking annoying. And the owners always shjt themselves when you walk by with a normal sized dog, learing at you as if your dog will hurt their little angel of hitler-induced anger hamsters
@Squinting Salamander, had that happen with my dogs and some shjtzu. It came running up off leash barking, I got between mine and the other one, old lady ran up screaming at me "don't let your dogs hurt mine"
@Squinting Salamander, my mom is like that, but like our dogs are literally the size of bananas so if an overexcited pupper came up to them and stepped on them by accident, they could quite literally break them. Im only like that if the dog is over interested in mine. Mine do bark at almost anything, but not on walks. I agree though some people are assholes about it though.
As soon as I read that I would've quit the job. I would have told my aunt she needs to find somebody else.
I feel sorry for that dog...
I'm gonna put your dog in the oven
Only 1/2 cup of food a day... that doesn't sound right to me. Even the smallest dog we've had (10lb Italian Greyhound) got a cup of food each day.
@NotTARGET, it depends on weight, activity, if theyre fixed or not, and the caloric content of their food. If theyre from about 5-7 pounds. 1/2 cup is fine. My one chihuahua is tiny and has a tendancy to gain weight easily, so she gets a 1/3 cup daily. Shes not starving in the slightest, i promise you that
Now I'm gonna sneeze...
OMG it's so fluffy!!!!
Did she really quote "the interview" ?
Does..... Does Pepper have purple hair?
