I've lived in California and Wisconsin. There's actually a huge difference between 50 degrees in both places. I think due to the ocean.
@Captain Hammer, I live on Long Island, we're surrounded by ocean. At below 50 I'm in a light jacket and jeans at most. But that's just me, you do you, friend.
I love in long beach, right by the ocean and I agree that there's something about the ocean, maybe the wind? But I've been in Washington at 20 and it didn't hither me as much as being by the ocean at 40
I've shoveled snow in Alberta in shorts and a tshirt at -6 before...
@phalcon , albertan. Can relate.
@phalcon , Is that in Celsius? Because that's 21° F for us
@phalcon , can relate albertan. -6 feels so good this time of year.
@phalcon , greetings fellow Albertan. Did you also say "wow, it's warm" when it reached -15, after having a full week of -30 degree weather?
@phalcon , ditto
@Baby Cthulhu, indeed I was working on the ambulance in Slave Lake that week. Came back to Edmonton where it got up to -3 or so, was like where did I put my shorts again? Lol
I live in Minnesota and I visited California this winter break and it was funny watching people with winter coats while I was wearing a t shirt
I lived in truckee california for a winter and i can confirm this is not true. Try like 10ft of snow
@Raped by a lesbian, for some reason I read that as treefvck California

I live in Texas and people have been freaking out because it's been below freezing for 2 days
I live in california, I can confirm that on days when it is 50 or below it is also 90+ a few hours before/after. We're weird like that
I live in Minnesota and I approve this message
You also need to factor in the humidity in Florida. That will make it feel much colder than it actually is
It is currently 39 degrees in Florida. Send help!
