I still owe Blockbusters late fees...
@LEG, my family actually stopped going because we wanted to keep a movie. We owe like over 100 I think.
@LEG, you're the reason they went bankrupt.
@I Am Mike Tyson, you're just awful!
@notMrWonka, not as awful as nickel back
@therutabagaclub, Beverly Hills Chihuahuas. Definitely worth it.
@I Am Mike Tyson, We lost a DVD once and we had to stop going because the fees were so high, and since my father shares his name with his father, they'd pop up as owing fees as well, so we all just switched to Netflix.
@LEG, wow, I wonder how much you owe by now
"Now I have to wait 2 years for it to come out on Netflix"
@PeachyKing, except for the interview.
@PeachyKing, yea this still exists. Some movies take forever to come out on redbox. Honestly, if they released movies on the Internet in full 1080p HD the day the movie came out in theaters and charged the $7 ticket price for it, a whole lot more people wouldn't pirate their movie. It's less about money for me and more about convenience. I can't believe the movie industry hasn't realized this yet. Also if they don't wanna do that, it would be great if they could make torrenting a little less complex. You have to get like VPN's which cost money so that just defeates the purpose of the torrent and you have to have a special download manager and a whole bunch of other crap that nobody has time to look into. I personally would torrent if I knew how, but none of these industries understand that I don't wanna do work for my leisure. The whole point of leisure is that it's easy and relaxing. K rant over...
@BunnyGruff, Just get torch its a browser that does all the hard work for you. All you have to do is find the actual download link which can be pretty tricky depending on what site your on.
@ominouslycrazed, I rented it from YouTube for $7 (i think) then a week later it was on Netflix 😐
I still watch my vhs tapes
@disneycupcakes, lost all of mine :(
Be kind rewind
I don't remember having this problem, but I rarely went to the movies or knew anything about the new ones coming out. I had a life.
@JenniBoo, yeah playing with the new super soakers or bop its
@towelbot, oh yeah. The good old days..
@towelbot, man , good ol bop it's
@JenniBoo, flying kites and playing Til the street light came on 😭
@towelbot, ghost in the graveyard with tons of other kids.
@JenniBoo, oh my gosh Jenni you just get me. Playing the skip it thing. And wonderballs. How about this one, ringing someone's doorbell to see if they're home!? Gosh. I rode my bike around the whole neighborhood asking if my friends were home to come out and play
@towelbot, Golly that sure sounds swell bud
@Eddie Nugget, wow, no need to be a jerk.
@JenniBoo, lol baconpopsicle is also butthurt I didn't agree with his picture. 😂😂😂
Actually it was probably a year for vhs and like five before it was on TV.
It would sometimes take up to 18 months. Depending on demand.
@iOS8, I just went to the 2 dollar theater that showed movies really late. After they stopped showing in regular theaters they would go there. The floors were sticky, the popcorn was stale and the sound was jacked up and falling apart but it was only $2
@niffler, yeah. The dollar theater was great. They usually hit there around 6 months after the initial release. The window between the theater and dvd/bluray is so short it doesn't allow for those theaters any more. :-/
@iOS8, There's still one by where I live. It closed for a while but now it's back on. It's in a really rough neighborhood so its not as safe to go as before but I'll go every so often while it's still alive.
